Right now, I'm listening to Fabian Salazar of Wuauquikuna do one of his weekend livestream shows. He's singing in Spanish, I don't understand a word, so I'm just enjoying his voice.
Lots of Japanese fighting comic, from Joe Yabuki, Ippo till like Vagabond picture a competition where a strong adversary beat up the protagonist and the protagonist able to win due to raw determination and spirit that make their opponent give up mentally, after taking a thousand hits to the head, the protagonist able to come out as a victor with that one last hit, I always hate that kind of narration style but Nate and Nick Diaz are somewhat the real expression of that narration irl.
Peoples say they will always win if there's a 6th rounds in mma (which mma consist of 5 rounds) because as the adversary went down in stamina from being them up, the Diaz brothers just keep coming back stronger as the rounds continue. The boxing match between Jake and Nate is such an embarrassment for MMA especially ufc, given it's not an even match because Jake is basically a boxer while MMA without their kick and take-down will only use like 1/5 of their over decades grind. But I pretty much still in awe with Nate endurance and determination, even though Diaz brothers are far from being prestigous but I found them highly entertainment and definitely among my favorite fighters.
