Well, the civ I've enjoyed playing the most didn't make the list (had a lot of fun in my Denmark games) other than that I'd have preferred an All of Them choice (not just all the ones on THIS list) since I tend to not care too much which civ I play, I'll probably still have fun (been going down the list to get the achievement for beating the game with each - playing Iroquois right now - I've played almost all of them before but didn't get achievement because I either lost, didn't finish or was playing a mod like CIVUP or my slow research because vanilla annoys me).
Arabia - clearly OP but when one wants an easy win, nevermind the VC. Excellent for testing new concepts of the game.
Inca - somewhat unexpected powerhouse and always cool.
Maya - anything is possible, dirt & neighbours give a guideline what to do next
Spain - wonderful in trying out all sorts of weird stuff depending of available natural wonders and two strong UUs when proper warring starts if thare're no NWs.
Anyway, voted Germany, Poland, Venice and Spain. Germany is just cool with the Hanse, the UA is now considerably more reliable (should be 100% though), Venice is just different to everything else in the game and is very interesting, Poland is nice too, and I just really enjoy Spain. Even if you don't see NW first, that's still okay if you settle one, and if you don't - well, you got some gold AND permanent happiness. Tercio and Conquistador aren't bad either.
