The acknowledged standard is ketchup. However, I hear that in other countries they often use mayonaise. And here in Washington is common to use tartar sauce. Some people enjoy barbeque sauce as well.

What about YOU!?

Ketchup. I don't eat french fries very often, though.

Nothing, but I sprinkle a little bit of lemon juice on top. Add some swiss cheese and a few slices from a tomato and a sallad leaf.

I like them with salt and pepper.

Barbeque Sauce and Tartar Sauce are what I use most for my fries. I used to only use McDonalds's honey sauce stuff, but not anymore.

The best fries only need a little salt. Those of lesser quality I dip in ketchup. McD's fries are top of the line for those that are mass produced. No ketchup needed.

Has anyone put Old Bay on their fries? That's what a lot of people at my school do, in addition to an overload of vinegar.

Any of the above, they're all good. But the best chips are those soked in curry sauce or gravy.

A Normal human dips his french fries (Yes I said french fries :p), in ketchup.

So there fore, I dip them in ketchup.

McD's fries scare me.

In the bonus features on the DVD of Super Size Me, they took french fries from an average sit-down restaurant, and McD's french fries, and put them each in a jar. After 2 months, the average french fries were just as you'd expect them to be: covered in mold. The McD's french fries, however, looked exactly the same as if you had just bought them. Too wierd!
