What if you knew the world was really ending this December?

Wouldn't really change anything. I live every day wondering if it is my last so actually knowing a guaranteed death date would not really phase me.

Crime spree.
That's be the last thing I'd do. Who wants to spend the rest of his/her life in prison!

I'd be pretty torn. I'd probably leave my girlfriend & daughter. The reason I stay is to be a good, stable long-term influence on my daughter but if she'll be dead before she's five years old I have no reason to stay with her mother.

Probably I'd try to convince my mother to give me money & travel. I have no idea what I'd do all in all. Most of what I do now is motivated by long-term goals.

Casual sex would be much more appealing than it is now (knowing I may have a few dozen more years on this planet). I wouldn't have to worry much about STDs or pregnancies (as long as I started screwing starting in April).

Well given how our legal system works, you'd probably be out on bail and awaiting trial until the world ends, so you will still be free. That is, of course, if you can find someone to pay your bail.

Like some posters, I would let certain people know how I feel about them. If certain people of those certain people reciprocated that feeling, I would spend the rest of my days with them in happiness and die happy.

"That'd be the last thing I'd do" is the whole point. The world is ending, remember?

Perhaps so tired that he would want the world to end

But you'd be all tired during your last days.
Maybe that would be deliberate, so he'd sleep through the apocalypse, as to avoid actually witnessing the sheer terror just seconds before dying?

If there's no point in maintaining my savings I'd drastically increase giving to the poor, they might as well eat good food their last year. Same with my Filipino friends, take them out places and have parties even more than we do now. I'd reflect on a fairly long and full life compared to a few centuries back, been a heck of a run.

I'd do what Rashiminos said, get ready for the next life.

All those years trying to destroy Till would feel a bit pointless.

But why break the habit of as lifetime? I'd redouble my efforts to take him out before December and feel less bad about the collateral damage.
