I've been playing Solitaire.
Very exciting!
Very exciting!
The horse in question is a foal. I think someone's been sniffing too much manure.
We are supposed to command other people to die for us as true civilised rulers. Now, now, we esteemed members of CFC prefer games in which we dispatch opponents with lethal force rather than wrestling moves. We are people of culture.
3. Hell Let Loose (now if you're into old school WW2 first person shooters but want something with a bit more strategy this is the game for you)
^Haha! I believe you because that's how I felt when I first heard about the game. Did you get it and if so have you tried the new Utah Beach map?
I'm still grateful to you that you pointed me at KSP. The only problem I ever had with it as an early access title was:I have been burnt by early access before, but only... once? Out of like a dozen games. Maybe more.
Which was super common for that game and always happened right when I was trying to beat the communist dogs of @warpus -land at some new space spectacular.Especially if it breaks saves.
I actually bought Darkest Dungeon as Early Access and preferred the EA version to the release. The EA version of the game was more enjoyable because the devs hadn't spent months listening to the macho posturing of the 'git gud' crowd.Guys I admire your discipline with regards to not buying early access games. I agree with your reasons whole-heartedly.
But I have to admit when it comes to certain games or genres I am weak and cave in. Have I been burnt? You bet. Do I still fall for this tactic of early access? Only if the price is right and the subject matter interests me. I don't mind taking a bet on an early access game if it is 10 currency units or less. Kind of like playing a scratch ticket but with video games instead.
I hate it when I have some epic EUIV save going and I load it.. and.. nope, there's a new version, can't play anymore, my save is not compatible. I take long breaks from my games sometimes, but like returning to them
