I ain't gotta explain a thing
To be fair I'm not sure what you're expecting from a trench warfare game.and the trench fighting often devolves into camping/sniping (bolt actions)

Verdun is fun, kind of janky controls and weak movement system, and the trench fighting often devolves into camping/sniping (bolt actions) so just know what to expect going in. Watch a gameplay video on YT and see if it's your kind of thing. Extremely different from say BF 1942.
Anybody played Verdun? Is it good? Battlefield 1 had given me a hankering for some WW1 action. But on closer inspected, BF1 seems to have very little to do with WWI. Seems more like Dice made a game that is a WW1 skin for BF4. Which is very disappointing.
Yeah, the preview vid I saw would have been disappointing if I'd been expecting anything else. The "run n' gun" shooters just don't interest me. Oh well. They're not even trying to hide the fact they're just putting WWI textures on a cut-and-paste modern shooter game.
That'd be kinda strange since the other Battlefield games default to "iron sights" for pretty much everything in MP.I laughed so hard when I saw Battlefield 1's bolt-action rifles with default fanciful scopes.
Test of Time was the by-far superior version of Civ 2. I'm surprised you never picked it up before.
I'd been thinking about going back to the previous couple of Fallout games. I don't know how much replay value they'll have for me. I wonder what the state of the mod scene is for those games.Fallout New Vegas is a fun game to play
Um. All of the above, I suppose. However, I still have 1 & 2 on disc, and my disc drive hasn't worked in a while. I haven't bothered to install a new one simply because I haven't had any call to use it in like a year. The classic Fallouts or 3/NV?
Getting in a Mass Effect mood again, so I'll probably be doing a playthrough of the greatest video game trilogy ever for about the seventeenth time.
If you're in a Mass Effect mood, why are you playing Super Mario Bros ?
