Signs point to the Germans being next. Although Frederick(Barbarosa) looks to be the leader, Otto the Great would be an interesting choice also. With the Olympics on, I thought Greece and Rome might be next. So much for that speculation I guess. Then again I do see that a War Elephant is a Unique unit indicating India might be revealed in the not too distant future.

We saw Trajan's 3D model. We saw the "Frederick/Barbarossa" text show up beside one of the art-boards they have to show off what they have made so far.

But, no, I have not confused these two leaders; how incompetent do you think I am, the two are nothing alike- we saw Barbarossa also. Yes, it was on an art board, but it was clearly his in game appearance as opposed to concept art. We only saw half of him though; he was on the edge of the screen. His beard was full on red as opposed to ginger I seem to remember.

Was it an in-game screenshot? I recall it being just concept art or but defeniately not a render. and I don't think we've seen that much of him anyway.

I'm pretty sure it was, more specifically, a character/model sheet where they'd draw/paint a character (or their portrait) from multiple perspectives and or in different poses (I know it's still technically part of concept art, but it's just a small technical difference that I thought I'd point out for the benefit of... well, myself I suppose ). But yeah, I don't think it was a 3D model - We only saw a small snippet of the right side of Barbarossa's face from the front though if I remember correctly.
