SprylliNES is having a BT, and is urgently in need of new players for when it restarts. The deadline for BT orders is in 37 hours.

That's a pretty intensive video and many of you might not have fully understood exactly what it was all about. So to help you out I have a translation of it in plain English by a cute Asian girl.

Link to video.

 yes although she didn't go into quite the same detail regarding the plasticity of the neurological pathways but that's a good tip about pore strips.

I feel like I should get some pore strips now. I can feel the oil on my face.

so I'm doing approximately 3 hours per set of orders in writing (and editing and doing research for) my update, producing just around 100 (select) words per hour :O

it's tough and draining and I'm already late by almost a month, BUT I WON'T GIVE UP

How long do your term papers take? Do you have to prepare them before you sign up for the class they're due in?

I'm considering joining a NES, but do I have to wait until a new one starts, or can I join one already in progress?
Most mods would be overjoyed if you join their NES. Virtually all of them have open slots.

Also, if after a while I realize that NES isn't my thing, does it hurt the game to remove myself from the game?
Depends on the game to some extent, but it probably would be detrimental to the game quality. A good mod will be understanding of relatively new NESers experimenting with NESes, and won't jump on your back if you decide it's not for you.

Methos! Dachs already answered your questions, but you should hang out at #nes! Fun things happen!

Anything on first page of NES-sub forum, that "last posts" do not refer NES being dead, is good to go. There are several Nesse (you do not control nation, but rather rich families or gods in one town) variations and several roleplaying NES'es (NWolf, M&ANES) around besides usual Control-a-nation-on-alternate-timeline.

It's OK to join with NES when it is in progress. Just find one that you like - If you're not sure whatever you wish to stay or leave, take control of some minor faction - losing player playing as France is great hit to NES, compared to losing Poland for an example.

NESing is made more fun with #Nesing (server: razorvine.selfip.net ,room: #Nes)

Welcome Methos; by all means join an active game. They vary greatly in style and rules so read through the OP of any game you are considering to compare.

Thank you Birdy! You're awesome.

I concur.

Btw:

WolfNES has several free spots for players. It's a variation of Nesse, but with more roleplay. Players control "immortal orcs" and right now have only one village - deciding takes place same as Nesse, but instead of having already families/clans, players develop themselves and gain followers (who function same as as clan). Besides developing yourself you must also argue what is better for future - catch sheep now, or later; train soldiers or build a mine; be attacked by tauren or attack first?

It's on update 3 and update 4 is coming after weekend. You'd have to stand my horrible English tho.

#nes has brought up the discussion about handwriting. So here's mine.

I had a Freudian moment when I combined the 2nd and 3rd words of LM's handwriting example...
