Most important variables: size of Moderator and oneself's involvement and the ratio of quality of update (and stories) to time it takes to update (and stories). Not sure of quality and quality stories and incharacter stuff goes under involvement or update. (good diplomacy is definately under involvement)
If we have instantaneous updates, we will always get undefined enjoyment! (1 time -1 update =0! That is way some computer games sometimes have uncertain enjoyability)
Certain things: Good moderators with bad players gives bad numerators to be divided.
Longer a NES, even with long times between updates, slowly increases enjoyability with a decreased denominator.
Quality of updates have uncertain usefullness to enjoyment depending on other variables.
Involement of other players is less important than involvement of oneself.
