Hey man, you've got nothing on the Vancouver Skytrain, which has, I kid you not, three (3) different lines.

hooooooooly ****************!

It put Vancouver on the map, like Brockway, Ogdenville and North Haverbrook.

Moreso, most likely, because the Skytrain monorail uses a revolutionary new 'double rail' system.

Where I come from, anything closely approximating effective public transit is nothing short of wondrous.
Where I come from there is no such thing as effective public transportation. Get a car or suffer.

No my mobike is the best thing to get around a big, traffic jammed city.

:) I visited DC with my family the last time we were in the USA, back in 2006. The subway there was like being in the future!

Public transportation is one of my core interests of voting for parties. Which party ensures to expand and effectivize public transportation etc.

I moved from a city where buses came once an hour during peak times to a city where buses came once an hour at 3 in the morning. I was so happy when I found that out. Man I love this city.

You fancy Europeans with multiple parties

Here in the good ol Great States of 'Murrica neither party cares for public transport! That's for them poors. >:-C

edit: Though, being a resident of the DC metro area I sure do love my metro system. The NYC one is too confusing.

Using the New York City subway involves a) going to New York City and b) interacting with New Yorkers.

DC therefore has a clear advantage regardless of technicalities like station number and maintenance.

New York City is scary.

The metro in my city has been abandoned for 40 years, making it 1: Hobo haven and 2: dry, underground walkways in the winter. I looved the NYC subway.

Well my hometown's train is a turn of the century tourist trolley at the end of an abandoned pioneer narrow-gauge railway, so nyeh! ;)

My hometown's bus line got stolen by gypsies.
