Could said person join the podcast with the express intention of trolling IOTers?

I would think such an approach would be counterproductive for the forums.

There are a lot of people on the NESing subforum just now. Is it normally busier on the weekends, would people say?

So if anyone here likes the board game 'Diplomacy', we are playing a game with NESers. Most of the players are beginners, so if you've heard of it but have never given it a try before, now would be a good time to check it out. Naturally, more experienced players are also welcome!

If you're interested, post in the NESer Diplomacy thread, and I'll put you in the wait list for taking new nations... and given present trends, people on this list are likely to become active players very quickly!

Where do you live? D:

This.

Happy New Year everybody from the greatest city in the greatest nation of them all, Barcelona in Catalonia. ;)

Also, I am getting excited about Europa Universalis IV. Its looking like all the good bits of EUIII with a lovely map and interface in EU2 style.

Yep, Iggy's right. The mythical far off land of Australia, land of GMT+10 and always being 16 hours more prepared than California.

Oh yes it's been 11 minutes into the "new" year. I'm just refreshing for Terrance's update.

I've been rather busy the last few days, but as a roundup for why I haven't completed several important tasks (namely, diplo and orders in a variety of NES's, updating the Mortal Engines thread, checking up on AIM, etc.) it's been a hectic past three and a half days. My grandfather went into the hospital for lower back pain, and found out it's a triple set of compress fractures in his vertebrate, a day after his brother passed away quietly in hospice. For the 28/29'th, I spent time volunteering for a sports tournament to fill out a sheet for community hours, and the previous day for visitation at the funeral home for my grandfather's brother as well as today being a pallbearer for the casket as it was taken to the cemetery.

TL;DR version, I've been super busy so missed orders/diplo/prior promises I will try to catch up on within the next 48 hours now. Sorry for having to drop everything in a hurry.
