since I was mentioned in the original post let me say I have no particular affinity for Kiss or pandas. The avvie I want can't be posted at CFC but if I could it would be a cow in a row boat with a waving pirate flag(thanks Mistfit!). I wear that one at CDZ. Why you ask? Because it's what I do.

My user name is something you can use in many other ways. Such as "Whomper" or "Panda boy Whomp" or "Whompalicious" or "Whomper Room "or "man, you gave him a good whomping"....you know stuff like that.

My location is Chicago. Home of the whomper.

In my signature is "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups" is the Team K.I.S.S' motto. Fits with our group of idiot anarchists. I'm part of the Idiot academy too and recently have been promoted to Major Idiot.
The other sig stuff are SG's and PBEM's I'm in. This will change as I see fit. I probably need to create a link to my forum at CDZ.

Name: Taken from the elusive psychic villian "Yuri", of Red Alert 2, with a number tacked on the end. Originaly used it for playing Westwood games online, and then stared applying it everywhere else I went. The number has since picked up the meaning of being a number for one of the many Yuri Clones.

Avatar: Inspired by sprite-comics like Bob and George, I created a 16-bit sprite of a Yuri Clone and worked it into an avatar. After that, I came up with the idea of having him trapped in a bubble for no reason whatsoever.

Title: Describes avatar.

Location: Shows that my bubble is submerged in some sort of fluid.

Signature: 2-Line Add for my little thread, The Post Wars, and links to some other forums I visit.

Title: I stole it from Stevie 'Guitar' Miller, it symbolizes my respect for the power of love and understanding over self/ego/violence. If you don't like it go **** yourself!

Location: No, we don't have orange curtains and I am not a rabid supporter of the Protestant faction in N. Ireland. I live in Orange County, CA which is largely conservative and Republican. This is a pun on Winston Churchill's 'Curtain of Iron' speech.

Signature: I thought the first one is especially appropriate for a guy with big feet. The other is from Steven Wright, a pretty funny guy IMHO.

They've won all three games so far but they were all against crappy teams from other conferences. Robinson seems to be having some problems but if the offense can pull it together we can have a winning season. Our best defensive player is on suspension for making a prank call to his high school coach. Overall, better than last year.

Oh well, glad they are doing better, even if they really haven't been tested so much.

I just realized I hadn't explained where my user name comes from. In Civ2, I often chose the French (for no real reason) and changed the leader's name. But I was too lazy to think of something creative, so I added an X, making Louis XIV into Louis XXIV. No real point to it, but I figured it pretty much had to be the name I chose when I first registered at a Civ fansite, since it was the closest I had to a regular name I'd use that wasn't my own.

I don't have a sig, because I have sigs turned off. I have sigs turned off because I don't like seeing the same sigs over and over. I used to have a sig that listed my currently difficulty setting on whichever civ I was playing, because I got sick of everyone telling me my advice wouldn't work at a higher/lower setting.

My location is just because I like old movies, and because I like seeing the words 'radio' and 'picture' right next to each other. Radio picture. Just never gets old.

I don't have an avatar because I don't like to think that people are paying attention to who posted something while they are reading it. Also, they take up too much space.
