Maybe just because I had seen a video where Colbert used it - and I have a negative view of Colbert.Not really due to that, though; it strikes me as problematic to use a phrase supposed to connote the other person is a child, when the person uttering it emulates a child to make the accusation.
Then again, probably it's also that due to ocd I read it as if Colbert was talking

Don't know about Tumblr, but afaik there is roughly zero chance of discovery in Discord
Not sure why Discord even exists; possibly it was supposed to be a web-meeting client (?) or at least voice-meeting. I only posted in some groups and generally don't get anything out of it. It has a slightly new-age Mirc vibe, which I don't like.

Probably! Colbert has nothing to do with why I use it.
I use it because he's demonstrably a thin-skinned baby who abuses the platform he bought to silence his critics and namesearch people criticising him.
I sort-of can imagine him doing his hardcore stuff i.e. prowling his office at 2 a.m. with a big, yuge whiteboard with the names of his enemies and striking them off the list with a hapless bleary-eyed tech who definitely doesn't get overtime or stock options trying to find them for him.

At the moment though its tolerable, but once all the MAGAs rejoin Twitter it will be likely devolve into a dumpster fire.

Twitter can be trash. Facebook can be trash. In a lot of ways they're both designed to be, so rich people can get richer. But "why are you on it" is the wrong argument. Even if there's cause for them not to be, we don't get anywhere by putting the consequences of bad on the victims.
Cali isn't Musk's anything. Not particularly. I'm sure they're happy to have the capital, though uh the longer he trashes his stock the less likely that is. But I know Cali is a thing for you. But here's the thing. He was doing more than alright in Texas. Still is, really.
