Proudly F.

Come on, how can it be hot out when it's 30 degrees? That doesn't make any sense! :mad:

What is the internal body temperature at which people die? (I'm too lazy to look it up)

If it is near 30 then it is hot.

I hope that no country on Earth is using Kelvins.

And let me here sing Kumbaya and say that, having used both Celsius and Farenheit, they both work surprisingly well at telling you the temperature outside - because truth be told, I don't care about any decimal places in my temperature to know if I should put a jacket or not :rolleyes:

That being said, m3triX Roolz!

Just to weigh in on the "precision" argument, units cannot be inherently precise since they can be broken down into infinitely small increments.

Precision is the tolerance of the measurement taken, which is a function of the instrument used, not the units in which it measures.

Celsius, one of Sweden's contributions to the modern world.:goodjob:

Celsius

Zero = frezingpoint of water.

Its the only one that makes any sense.

Freezing point of PURE water at EXACTLY one ATMOSPHERE of pressure. That doesn't make sense to me.

It works just fine in everyday use.

"Bellow zero? Put on the hat and gloves"

Pretty much the most important point on the scale. Makes sense to use it as starting point.

its 4 degrees out.....

Fun Fact: -40 is the temperature which means the same on both scales.

Maybe when God becomes annoyed at all these petty squabbles about temperature scale, He will punish us by establishing a permanent -40 temperature on the planet...
