Playoff Seedings are finalized:

(L)east

(8) Atlanta Hawks vs. (1) Boston Celtics
(7) Philadelphia 76ers vs. (2) Detroit Pistons
(6) Toronto Raptors vs. (3) Orlando Magic
(5) Washington Wizards vs. (4) Cleveland Cavaliers

West

(8) Denver Nuggets vs. (1) Los Angeles Lakers
(7) Dallas Mavericks vs. (2) New Orleans Hornets
(6) Phoenix Suns vs. (3) San Antonio Spurs
(5) Houston Rockets vs. (4) Utah Jazz

Whaddya guys think? Upsets? Sweeps?

I can't believe the Hawks are a playoff team. Yeah, it's the East and that doesn't really count, but still....

Upset is that Atlanta will win a game.

Houston vs. Utah again huh?

Unless T-MAC goes super against the Jazz, its another first round exit for them.

I was hoping Denver would face the hornet instead of the Lakers. DEN has a much better chance of winning against the hornets.

The west should be really fun to watch :scan: . Suns/Spurs = wow.

Wizards will put beer-face in his place. I'm glad this team is trashtalking and getting blamed for it. It shows the media's love for James. He starts it, once again. It's also Gilbert's fault when LeBron walks in front of him on a free throw. It's the Wizards defense's fault when James takes 8 steps to get to the basket and a lay-up.

West Playoff Series is just going to be awesome to watch. With the Exception of Denver, and that is harsh on them, any team can go through as the Champion of the West. The East is much easier to predict, since the top four are definitely going to win their opening rounds in the playoffs, but from there it will get interesting. I can't wait for the action to start.

Ah, you're just bummed because we own you in the playoffs, and we're going to do it again.

Cavs in 6.

You mean 'bitter-beer-face' right? I kept wondering what/who he looked

like but couldn't place him.

I think Denver might be able to beat LA since they don't have Bynum. They can't defend Bryant though. Although I've always though that Iverson/Anthony should be able to outscore Bryant.

LA isn't just Bryant. Not anymore....

Yeah, they have Gasol and Odom as well, but Denver should still be easily able to match up with them.

Lets see the matchups:

PG:
LAL: Fisher
DEN: Carter

Advantage: LAL

SG:
LAL: Bryant
DEN: Iverson

Advantage: Slight Adv to LAL

SF:
DEN: Anthony
LAL: Radmanovic

Advantage: DEN

PF:
LAL: ODOM
DEN: Martin

Advantage: Tough to say here, I'd give maybe a tiny advantage to Odom

Center:
LAL: Gasol
DEN: Camby

Advantage: This one not so clear-cut to Gasol as everyone thinks

They matched up pretty well, but I think LAL is more cohesive

Wow....what a game in San Antonio. The myth of the Spurs being a "boring team" should be shattered from it, but no, Tim Duncan hasn't committed enough crimes and Ginobili hasn't run his mouth enough.

:mischief:

The Suns sure put on a show for us today. Hopefully they can get the series win and provide us more entertainment in the second round.

"Fo' Fo' Fo'" as a famous center once said.

While it would be nice, I would be happy if Boston wins it all, no matter the amount of games played.

You guys are in deep trouble; Shaq, Amare, and Diaw all with 5 fouls in the middle of the 4th and it took you 2 overtimes to close it out at home, relying on an inexplicable Duncan 3. ;)

Yea, I've heard that logic before. The Suns are looking like the Kings of this generation though.

Chris Webber > basketball player formerly known as Shaq :p
