2012 NBA Playoffs

Sixers-Celtics really isn't a rivalry.

Especially when the 1982 series that is referred to as its "pinnacle" had Boston fans imploring the Sixers to "Beat LA" after the Celtics were thrashed in Game 7. That says everything about who the Celtics' true rival is.

Re 1 : Or Kevin McHale, as far as that goes...

Can't agree more with 2.

i liked the way the sixers played last night. 1st half was a little sluggish. but the C's were just as lethargic. sixers D trapped well and rebounded pretty well. and iguadala hit some free throws that sealed the game  Game 7 here we come. i shall channel Andrew Toney

I think this is Boston's last chance with the current roster. Win or lose, they need to start
getting younger in the offseason.

C's looked bad at the end. I agree the window of opportunity is closing for them too. It looks like Ainge--who I had my doubts about as a GM prior to his piecing together of the big three--is going to really have to prove himself rebuilding this squad without his buddy McHale giving him sweetheart trades.

I think these refs are going to start calling techs on players for just casually staring at them soon.

A tech for Garnett "delaying the game" and one on Doc for saying "come on Eddie."

The second one is almost as bad as the Duncan laughing tech. Both were handed out by a Crawford-led officiating crew. COINCIDENCE?

I have no idea what you're talking about. Wade never commits fouls in close games.
Didn't you know that?

On another note, Anthony Davis is one lucky dude. Avoided the pit of suckitude that is the Bobcats.

And went to another pile of suckitude that is the Hornets. Crappy ownership situation, team's best player is going to try and bolt (Eric Gordon is a RFA this season, and lots of teams are going to try and break the bank for him), and little in the way of actual young talent around him. The Hornets are going to be bad for a long time as well.

Kinda bummed the Cavs got the #4 pick, as the 3 guys I really want may all be off the board then. Here is hoping Charlotte or Washington find a way to screw this up.

I hope the refs even the score and hand the Celtics the win with two horrible calls if its close in Boston.

Once Benson takes over, and they get the bounties squared away on LBJ, Durant,
Kobe, etc. they should be fine. :mischief:

Cleveland has options. Barnes, if they're lucky. Kidd-Gilchrist if they're not.

It has to be said that Anthony Davis is probably the ugliest premier prospect in NBA history.
