if you cant watch Joe Rogan, try Sam Seder's analysis of Rogan's interview with Jordan Peterson

the house of cards falls at about 15 minutes into the clip, very funny take down by Rogan

short version:

Spoiler :
Peterson condemns 'equality of outcome' and Rogan shows that Peterson supports it with enforced monogamy

Changing America is a larger issue than the president, but starting at the top is a real strength for a movement. Look at Trump – he’s wrecking the place up, only for all the wrong reasons.
He's wrecking it in the wrong places. He's strengthening other things simultaneously, e.g mass surveillance.
Beats me why Americans care to much about VP on the ticket. It's mostly ceremonial and isn't even a way to get trained to take over after a second term.
Um… the Bush dynasty got started that way. That's just the one example. Spiro Agnew, Al Gore, Dick Cheney, Richard Nixon… there's probably more non-insignificant VPs if we go back but those are the first five VPs I can think of. Oh, and LBJ, all in the second half of the 20th century.

Sanders is griping about Russiagate again... I didn't know this back during the primaries but the Clinton Campaign and their advocates in the media were accusing Sanders of getting Russia's help. I think Jill Stein got that treatment too.

How could you not know this? I see it Facebook routinely to this day! I always chalked it up to people watching too much damn Rachel Maddow

Yeah there was this stupid thing where this picture of Stein having lunch with Putin, Flynn and a number of other Russian and foreign officials was floated as her having part of a conspiracy.

She can't speak Russian and was sitting by an emissary from a completely different country. She wanted to go there to speak about environmental issues but she said the trip was a waste because she was largely ignored. Now theres a picture they're using to smear her.

That was National Enquirer level conspiracy theory building right there.

Next time someone claims that Canadians don't have accents, I'm going to show them clips from this.
Oh Canadians do have accents. So do Americans. It's the Irish who don't. :p

My family have very clear Ontario accents, even though they don't realize it. It's how they pronounce their "Os" mostly I think, or maybe just all long vowel sounds.

Guy ciallmhar :p

Spoiler :

And for those killjoys out there who are going to complain that a moderator broke the rules, it means "wise guy".

Canadians have split heads. South Park wouldn't lie to me.

I mean like Trump only in how his proposals are completely infeasible, I don't mean he's bad or anything.

But I really, really don't like Bernie lol!

I feel like your political views on what is or is not 'feasible' have been anchor-effected by the status quo and Bernie is bringing so much good to the table that you can't understand how it is possible, because everything has been bad for so long; if such goodness was possible why hasn't anyone else brought these policies to life?

The vast majority of Americans are in favor of the vast majority of his policies, by no small margins. These policies are realistic and can be paid for. Every other developed country in the world has orders-of-magnitude cheaper universities (some even pay students living stipends so they can focus on their studies) and a national healthcare system on par or better than the U.S. while paying less than half of what we pay. I didn't watch all of the Joe Rogan interview, because it's 65 minutes long, but he did go over very specifically how to pay for some of these programs and he had smart answers, like a tax on wall street transactions (like 0.05% per transaction or something super tiny) through volume raising great funds and also doubling as a disincentive for speculative trading.

Bernie's an old male though.

The Dems haven't nominated a white male since 2004. They're actually over due to nominate one;)

I watched all of Bernie's Joe Rogan interview, he came across very well and put it in layman's terms so the general public could understand.

I think his time was 2016 but go Hilary right. At the time he had better numbers vs Trump than she did.

One of my wife's friends is engaged to an Irish guy. She brings him over whenever he's stateside to try my beers. He said we overemphasize our vowels too much. It was hilarious to hear him do an impression of us.

I can do Canadian now if I have to, but you're right, it sounds awfully funny.
