Aren't televangelists and politicians generally hard to tell apart? Both professions require the same groomed but not threatening sort of appearance.

Recently at an event Biden was speaking when dairy activists rushed the stage and his wife intercepted one of them. She then told Joe you're okay. That sounds like what a caretaker says to someone who aint all there. He's not that far down the dementia drain but he's starting to swirl.

No one voted to invade Iraq. The majority of Congress, esp, the Republicans, voted to authorized Bush to take us to war once all other options were exhausted. Bush ignored this limitation and invaded. Yet in Berzerkerworld, only Democrats took us to war.

He isn't functioning, unless somehow he got a bad case of stuttering and found it impossible to say 'god', but then again he says bizarre stuff like that all the time.

This is serious, Biden is declining in terms of mental health and stability; he needs to be in a care home being given palliative care for his cognitive decline, he could scarcely tell the difference between his wife and sister, this is man is sick this is ill
I just wanted to note the amazing irony of misinterpreting Patine's post (of all the people I'm choosing to go to bat for, hah) as being about "forgetting", three or so posts after claiming your own posts were being misinterpreted.
I understand being opposed to Sanders, as much as I disagree with it, but your position seems to also that popular criticism of Biden is wrongthink or in general just poorly thought-out. This seems a bit reductive, really.

Tims stance here is very vitriolic as well, I understand that it is his general online personality but I would think since he purports to be for the policies touted by Sanders he would be a bit more amenable to his campaign. Instead it seems he loathes Bernie and all of his supporters quite fervently.
Eh, now the format will be taking questions only from the crowd? Why, so Joe cannot be compromised in having to answer Bernie? Instead Biden will just try to memorize a 2 min answer to a known question, good going. (given he is rotting, he may not even manage that, but still this is a charade).
Can you be more rigged - I mean if your attempt is to win the nomination so as to have Joe be slaughtered by Trump, who obviously won't agree to this lame debate style with no confrontation between the candidates, at least own to it

Which begs the question, what is more important for the DNC: to remove Trump or to remove Bernie. The answer at this point should be obvious

Sadly I'm already past the anger and grief part of this realization. I'm almost done with the depression part of it.

What's sort of funny is that every single person I know, without exception, agrees with me that Biden is obviously in cognitive decline and will lose to Trump. Even my dad, who is 71.

I will concede that Biden was the broker of probably the greatest foreign policy achievement of any American politician in the Middle East - EVER - the Camp David Accord. He got two nations that absolutely hated and detested each other, and wanted very much to kill each other and wipe each other out - Israel and Egypt - to come to a permanent peace treaty and mutual recognition and diplomatic exchange that has lasted to this day, and was the event that got the ball rolling on a separate such agreement between Jordan and Israel several years later. This was an act far greater than all of the failed attempted peace accords earlier and later, and certainly, immensely greater than any and all wars, economic exploitation, and arming and equipping certain nations against others - all of which are "negative achievements." Yes, Biden was the big hand at Camp David. I was three years old at the time. I'm 44 now. He is not the man he once was, despite being touted as such by his supporters. He is a pale shadow of who and what he used to be.

I find it curious that in your home nation (Australia) and mine (Canada), which are based on the Westminster tradition, that the Deputy Prime Minister, who stands in for temporary absences of the Prime Minister, does not take over - not even necessarily as interim PM - if the PM dies, resigns, or is forced out in the middle of a Parliament (that is, between elections).
