Bottoms up!
His Fox town hall went pretty well. I think he did some good prep for the gotchas.I'm not convinced Republican voters hate Bernie all that much... in fact when I think about it, I'd guess that if you asked a lot of them which potential Democratic nominee they liked the best (or disliked the least) most would say Bernie. Because a lot of the time, its not all about policies and such... some of it just boils down to the feels.
The thing we have to remember is during his 2016 campaign Trump lauded Scotland and Australia's healthcare systems. He said, "everyone's going to be covered" about his plan and when asked who'd pay for it he said the government. Obviously hes flipped on this since 9 million people have lost insurance directly because of his actions attempting to tank the ACA. I'm not so sure his voters have changed their minds though. Single payer is polling above 50% with Republicans and 70% overall. Its obnoxious to constantly hear we're the richest country in the world but for some weird reason we can't afford something all those countries who aren't so blessed can afford.
Bernie may be running as a D but he's always had an I next to his name. Republicans know the Democrat leadership hates Bernie so I dont think his D will repulse them in the same way other D candidates would.
