We’re calling Hunter Biden a highly experienced businessperson now? Sniffing a lot of coke doesn’t make you Michael Milken.

but you might feel like him!

This campaign is going to be directed by twitter because coronavirus. rumor is the NBA just cancelled indefinitely.

They don't want non-whites and Dems voting, repubs have been intentionally disenfranchizing communities for years, shutting down polling places, enforcing id strictly for certain groups

I have to show ID and I'm in a rural white part of a red state... Ty Kris Kobach

Intentionally making it more difficult for persons/demographics who are more likely to oppose your party to vote is a pretty simple/straightforward definition of voter suppression... which the Republicans are disproportionately doing/attempting all over the country.

People who do that should be prosecuted for violating the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment

You might consider trying to focus on a single enemy rather than juggle several. Trump, RNC, DNC, Biden, moderate Dems, Boomers, rich folks, etc.

Focus on one and get stabbed in the back by the others. The one I suggest focusing on are corporate politicians regardless of party affiliation.

I don't know what you burned down in the 60's

Draft cards...so Nixon ended the draft and the revolution died

It is not unusual for a highly experienced businessman to take a powerful position at a huge company and get paid lots of money. Do you have anything incriminating to point to? Anything at all?

He got the job soon after Dad was appointed Obama's Ukrainian Czar?

The fact that he got this job in 2014 when Joe Biden was working with Ukraine on anti-corruption is not incriminating enough?

By the way, Hunter is not a businessman. He is a lawyer. :) His first job was at bank holding, which—surprise, surprise—was a major donor to Joe Biden's campaign at the time. He has worked in banking and then somehow transitioned into an oil and gas company?

And Joe Biden is only running because he was Obama's VP and because he was in the room with the right people and helped big corporations with his terrible legislature. He is literally in business because he knows the right people.

Absolutely, and I don't think anyone is inclined to dispute that. Now, if you were constantly spamming your unchanging opinion, as if we needed to be reminded of said opinion every page of the thread, people might say "I know already." They might eventually be reduced to grasping at straws to try to shut down the annoying stream, and one such straw might be "don't cry to me Argentina." People like you should know that the operative word in such a plea is not Argentina, the operative word is cry and people are just tired of the incessant squalling.
I know that that is *your* POV, but I've also been told to ‘shut up, vassal’ here on this very website.

I currently have no fixed income so that would amount to room and board… I might take you up on this offer.

Watch Trump lose to Biden because of the coronavirus. That's the level we are at right now...

There is also a rumor that Biden might step down at the last second, and the DNC will nominate... Hillary Clinton. Given the joke of a country we live in, this might just happen.

Ha that would be the true death of democratic party. I would love to see that stunt.

Well, given that very few graduates of Yale law can't find a job it seems pretty likely that he was accumulating experience.

Yeah, that would be hilarious, but I don't think the DNC is moronic enough to do that, but then again, who knows...

I can totally see a Pete/Amy ticket, though, or something equally ridiculous like Kamala/Bloomberg. I mean, at this point nothing that comes out of the DNC will surprise me.

Dammit forgot about that part. No Corona virus locally yet but who knows.

What are your thoughts on serfdom?

Not to change the subject, but is Sanders helping or harming the progressive wing of the party by dragging them further through the drubbing he is taking here?

Depends how he performs.

He's losing but overall delegates aren't that bad 600 something vs 800 something.

Napolitano suggested Biden “might even reach across the aisle and do something off the wall like John Kasich, who probably agrees with Biden on everything except he’s got an ‘R’ after his name and it will guarantee Joe Ohio.”

He offered that tidbit after suggesting a woman as VP but gave no names

Not the same, though. The latter, what you posted Hobbs has been a "feature" of business for a very long time.
I know but I don't think inflation explains most of the problem. If you had inflation and healthy wage growth, there wouldn't be a problem. Instead, you've had steady inflation, steadily deflating wages (relative to inflation), coupled with brand new and extremely expensive life costs that didn't exist 30 years ago. Well, healthcare and college existed 50 years ago, but the costs have grown so much they aren't really comparable.

Not sure if it's the same in the USA but inflation figures exclude rent and mortage costs.

Housing about 3-20 times more expensive than say 1980 here.

A house in my suburb is about 10 times higher than early 80s. Wages aren't 10 times better though.

I think he playing it smart and we'll see what he does on Sunday: Asking Biden how he will accommodate Bernie supporters in November and after.

I think its highly incriminating in itself that the average hardworking American makes 50k a year while someone else makes 50k a month and it is not clear whether the latter has done anything useful.
