You can tell anymore? I mean, I know I'm generally not not topic, but all the 100+ page threads are sort of the same thread, aren't they?

It's just because a Clown is running in the 2020 Election.

More like a narcissistic clown, a religious fundamentalist, a buy-your-politician-here gone senile, and a buy-your-politician-here expecting a profitable career ahead still.
Dunno about the others no one talks about.

National Security Leaders for Biden: An open letter to America - 24 September 2020

We are 489 retired Generals, Admirals, Senior Noncommissioned Officers, Ambassadors and Senior Civilian National Security Officials supporting Joe Biden for President.

September 24, 2020

To Our Fellow Citizens:

We are former public servants who have devoted our careers, and in many cases risked our lives, for the United States. We are generals, admirals, senior noncommissioned officers, ambassadors, and senior civilian national security leaders. We are Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. We love our country. Unfortunately, we also fear for it. The COVID-19 pandemic has proven America needs principled, wise, and responsible leadership. America needs a President who understands, as President Harry S. Truman said, that “the buck stops here.”

We the undersigned endorse Joe Biden to be the next President of the United States. He is the leader our nation needs.
We believe that Joe Biden is, above all, a good man with a strong sense of right and wrong. He is guided by the principles that have long made America great: democracy is a hard-won right we must defend and support at home and abroad; America’s power and influence stem as much from her moral authority as it does from her economic and military power; America’s free press is invaluable, not an enemy of the people; those who sacrifice or give their lives in service of our nation deserve our respect and eternal gratitude; and America’s citizens benefit most when the United States engages with the world. Joe Biden will always put the nation’s needs before his own.

Those who have served know empathy is a vital leadership quality – you cannot do what is best for those you lead if you do not know their challenges. Joe Biden has empathy born of his humble roots, family tragedies and personal loss. When Americans are struggling, Joe Biden understands their pain and takes it upon himself to help.

We believe America’s president must be honest, and we find Joe Biden’s honesty and integrity indisputable. He believes a nation’s word is her bond. He believes we must stand by the allies who have stood by us. He remembers how America’s NATO allies rushed to her side after 9/11; how the Kurds fought by our side to defeat ISIS; and how Japan and South Korea have been steadfast partners in countering North Korean and Chinese provocations. Joe Biden would never sell out our allies to placate despots or because he dislikes an allied leader.

While some of us may have different opinions on particular policy matters, we trust Joe Biden’s positions are rooted in sound judgment, thorough understanding, and fundamental values.

We know Joe Biden has the experience and wisdom necessary to navigate America through a painful time. He has grappled with America’s most difficult foreign policy challenges for decades, learning what works – and what does not – in a dangerous world. He is knowledgeable, but he also knows that listening to diverse and dissenting views is essential, particularly when making tough decisions concerning our national security. Many of us have briefed Joe Biden on matters of national security, and we know he demands a thorough understanding of any issue before making a decision – as any American president should.

Finally, Joe Biden believes in personal responsibility. Over his long career, he has learned hard lessons and grown as a leader who can take positive action to unite and heal our country. It is unthinkable that he would ever utter the phrase “I don’t take responsibility at all.”

The next president will inherit a nation – and a world – in turmoil. The current President has demonstrated he is not equal to the enormous responsibilities of his office; he cannot rise to meet challenges large or small. Thanks to his disdainful attitude and his failures, our allies no longer trust or respect us, and our enemies no longer fear us. Climate change continues unabated, as does North Korea’s nuclear program. The president has ceded influence to a Russian adversary who puts bounties on the heads of American military personnel, and his trade war against China has only harmed America’s farmers and manufacturers. The next president will have to address those challenges while struggling with an economy in a deep recession and a pandemic that has already claimed more than 200,000 of our fellow citizens. America, with 4% of the world’s population suffers with 25% of the world’s COVID-19 cases. Only FDR and Abraham Lincoln came into office facing more monumental crises than the next president.

Joe Biden has the character, principles, wisdom, and leadership necessary to address a world on fire. That is why Joe Biden must be the next President of the United States; why we vigorously support his election; and why we urge our fellow citizens to do the same.

Sincerely,

I'm obviously not going to list all 489 names here. Forbes and Military.com note that 22 of them are retired 4-star generals and admirals. I do see some names I recognize. Susan Rice, Madeline Albright, John Kerry, James Clapper, Ashton Carter, Leon Panetta, Chuck Hagel, Gary Cooper. Okay, that's probably not the same Gary Cooper.

people , people , you should ask forum propeller heads . Anyone would tell you that Americans are finding it hard to compete with Russian 20th Century raw thinking and the raw power of the Chinese economy so they are making things up and Trump the jerk can be defended as claiming that America has subs that goes faster than the speed of sound in water . Wait for a week and like it will be the exact truth !

Oh, that's what hydro-sonic means. I get it now.

on the other hand Trump is also known by propellerheads for claiming that the F-35 was unvisible to the eye , so it really depends on what kind of an American would be listening to him . We actually deployed chameleon tanks that looks like lranian operated M-1s to drive Kurds out of Kerkük , according to a couple of websites for New Turkey , so it is all what one likes to accept .

That’s CanCon for you!

Sorry, CanCon?

Confusing the word hyper with hydro is one thing, posting a tweet that claims that 81% of white murders are committed by black people is another

Of course, the cold, statistical (and without ulterior motive, but flat-out, often inconvenient fact) that more African-Americans are murdered every year by other African-American than by White Americans, all motives and contexts pooled without differentiation, and more violent hate crimes against LGBTQ individuals every year are committed by African-Americans than White Americans. If violence on the streets of the U.S. is going to be tackled, it's certainly not just White People who have to be taken to some form of account and responsibility, but most racial demographics (though when I say account and responsibility, I do NOT mean a police state and draconian correctional - for the poor, while the rich and those in elected positions of power, and the terrorists, secret police organizations, military officers, and government bureaucrats who serve treasonous and criminal governments over the taxpayers and voters, remain de facto untouchable for their high crimes - I'm talking about true justice, where everyone is held to account, is equally subject to the same laws and same law-enforcement, judicial, and correctional procedures, and everyone gets what they deserve - no more and no less - right from the dirt poor transient with nothing all the way up to the U.S. President, completely equally, and inborn demographic would not play a part in changing or altering the decisions of justice, either. Then, and only then, would the U.S. be worthy of touting the motto, "And justice for all," anywhere on it's territory with out it being a vile insult. But this starts when denial of high criminal activity is made by certain demographics and laid completely on others, with no intent to address the actual criminals amongst themselves, is put aside).

You make it sound like their a new or recent thing in the vast majority of countries. This problem and atrocity is old hand almost everywhere.
Oh yes, but this is a new phenomenon here. Before the current misgovernment took office there had been a marked decrease in violence (except in anti-government demonstrations) and there were the beginnigns of police reform and anti-corruption campaigning. Now the old crowd has returned, promptly awarded itself emergency powers, and we're back to ‘don't go out after dark, you'll be killed and blamed for it too’.

It's just because a Clown is running in the 2020 Election.

It's a Clown vs. a Zombie, and, like is typical in rigged American politics, "Door Number Three is always guaranteed to be goat, Monty!" It's a wretched election, and thinking past inauguration day and what REALLY happens then seem to be strangely discouraged. This election is being view as a computer game final boss fight, or the Final Reckoning between the Lord of Darkness and the Father of Light that's the Apocalyptic event in Zoroastrian and Manichaean theology - NOT under any realistic context or viewpoint. For it to be a battle of "good vs. evil," their actually has to a "good side," that stands out in sharp contrast as such.

Bad vs vil

Go with Bad

Bad vs vil

Go with Bad

Don't American voters get that sick of that choice, constantly. No good leadership or good for the nation is EVER going to come of settling for the lesser of two evils (always representing the two biggest gangs of organized criminals in the country), no matter how many times you do it. The American voters should DEMAND BETTER than a Gotti vs. Escobar choice, all the time. In fact, American voters should demand, and only cast a vote, regardless of who the Duopoly endorses and nominates, a candidate who gives a damn about the people and nation, and is willing to take the title of "public servant," seriously, and not one who will, once again, kowtow to big corporate donors, moneyed lobby and special interest groups, and failed, self-serving, corrupt, criminal, and treasonous party lines.

And please stop using evil in a political context. It's a theological term, not a political term.

Yes. But still have to make it.

I'm using "evil" theologically here; Trump is evil. That's my theological judgment on Trump. I will not stop making that judgment. In general, I will use words as I please, not as you dictate.

Not least because you're wrong on this point. Here's the Oxford English Dictionary:

In Old English, as in all the other early Germanic languages except Scandinavian, this word is the most comprehensive adjectival expression of disapproval, dislike, or disparagement.

Its etymology is from "up over": exceeding appropriate bounds. Nothing that requires theology.

Biden has the blood from unjust wars and unjust abuses of power to support police state, human rights abusing, and bloody-handed tyrants (as well as supporting police state abuses of power in his own country) on his hands, and his support of torture and the killing of innocents as well as approving of the CIA - the world's largest, best-funded, and most well-organized international terrorist organization, put definite stains on his soul that also make him very evil indeed. Oh, but I forgot. In the modern revisionist narrative, all of Biden's high crimes, wickedness, and, yes evil, are supposed to be forgotten and forgiven - brushed under the carpet as though they never happened and were completely meaningless - because in contrived and artificial Hollywood narrative that's being pushed, only one side can truly be a villain and evil.

Trump is more evil than Biden.

They're both evil, corrupt, vile, and without any moral centre, and NEITHER should be allowed to be President after January, 2021. It basically comes to that. You're attitude on the issue is just plain repugnant.
