Definitely a medieval map, I can see the papal states and Venice...perhaps the HRE. And Spain is back to it's old kingdoms...so I'd place it around 1100-1200 AD. Have no idea what the blue is covering northern Italy...maybe...Milan? I dunno. And Britian is a complete mystery. Who else is on Scotland besides the Scots?

... Yeah, no; there's a Big Thing that covers most of France and Spain mate.

Obviously proto-Bourbons, Masada. :D

This is an altered map thread. Venice is there, the Iberian peninsula is split between small kingdoms, and I see the Papal States (as I stated before). Because he altered the map, it is plausible that another kingdom could encompass the territory so-named. Don't be so quick to dismiss that. I'd like to see you come up with a better time period. :p

If by 'altering' the map, you meant shrinking a blank one of the world (stolen from the OP of a sticky NES maps thread) and covering it, then I did alter it! :D

Or this.

Who is that chained to Russia working the mines? Belarus? And who is the Communist in Siberia?

Yeah, it is a bit different. The Pacific Islands are now all present, and a few other new characters added as well.

That said, Poland's flag is upside down in this one, while in mine it was the right way up. :smug:

You expect me to memorize every single map that is posted in such long threads....?

I do... :mischief:

Macedon, Austria, and Iceland all made me laugh.
