Event #1: George Washington fails to stop the British.
Effect: The British Empire extends across both North and South America, as well as Australia. Tech level is ramped up. Russia modernizes ahead of time and defeats China, securing most of Asia. Japan is never to be visited by Commodore Perry, and so does not modernize as soon. France and Prussia become the dominant forces in Europe, forming the Franco-Prussian dual monarchy.
Why would the British end up getting so much land? Need I remind you North and South America are owned by: The Russians, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. For what reason would the British take all this land from all these major players? On top of that, even if George Washington fails, the problems still exist in the 13 Colonies. How do the British deal with this?
Japan: What do you mean no modernize? Are you saying that the Meiji reforms don't happen? Or don't happen as quickly? I mean, I know the Perry visits had an effect, but the issues were in place long before Perry made the visit to the Japanese. And if it wasn't the Americans who did it, it probably would have been someone else anyways.
Why does Franco-Prussia form? Is this hypothetical suggesting the Revolution never happens? No Napoleon? How does Prussia break out from being a major power among the thousands of German principalities cities, etc. to being a major player on the world stage? Especially with the Prussians not getting the Rhineland and Saxony from the end of the Napoleonic Wars which I'm assuming do not happen. And where's Austria in all this?
Event #2: Religious tensions rise; Ottomans develop powerful technologies to be distributed across Africa and the Middle East.
Wait, what? Why? What "powerful technologies" are you talking about? And how do these powerful technologies arrest the plethora of issues plaguing the empire? (Also what time period are we talking about here?) Also what kind of religious tensions are we talking about, between what religions?
Effect: Ruler Khazan IV heads the Republic of Mecarana. India forms a rebellion due to religious conflicts, and Gandhi forms ties with Emperor Hirohito in 1949, forming the Pacific Union. Kazakhstan, a primarily Muslim state, becomes war torn due to Russian invasion. They want to join their motherland.
I'm sorry, but this makes no sense.
Event #3: A new supermassive radioactive form of uranium is discovered by the pounds in Antarctica, while a few grams are salvaged in Cuba.
...lolwut?
Antarctica is declared British territory, although disputed by Russia. Franco-Prussia also claims Antarctica. Eventually, British soldiers take over but are immediately disintegrated by a 2nd generation A-Bomb. A new nation of Colonia comprises Antarctica. The Pacific Union advances itself due to a brilliant scientist named Kim Sunghoon, who develops 99.9% free energy through cold nuclear fusion. It begins to invade Australia.
I'm sorry but what the heck is going on here?
Event #4: An asteroid is found with a diameter of 16 kilometers. Its end point is in the middle of the Indian Ocean. 6 months to impact.
Weary of the tsunami that may result, Colonia and the Pacific Union sign a Defensive Pact. Colonia begins production on a deflection bomb made of the supermassive uranium. With Australia failing to defend against the Pacific Union, Britain and Franco-Prussia stand to destroy the project, dooming Colonia and the Pacific Union. Russia stands neutral on the issue, while Mecarana also sides with Colonia. Cuba sides Britain and Franco-Prussia, wishing to destroy the competition for the supermassive uranium.
Arrows indicate major attack points by the attacker as of the current date: January 3, 2070. Asteroid is currently 57 days to impact, +/- 2 days. Enjoy.
I feel like you aren't even taking this seriously any more.
