I did too and in fact started one, but I'm working up to one for my 10,000th post so I'm conserving my energy that has been sorely drained by the forum today . And if I can count, this is my last post until I decide where to post #10,000.

So that's why you got "Instant Karma". Actually, you probably got "instant karma" because you deserved it for today.

I may have to hold off all further posting until you come clean on this merger business.

Indeed I was too busy yesterday reloading Gates' Windows. I visited the CPC a few times but didn't read the threads. I do hope superslug doesn't delete that forum too quick so I could take a good look at CPC to see what the "rebels" were up to.

This is... incredible.

I style myself as a humour-lover. I live for jokes and japes and tricks. But this... this did not amuse me, not one iota.

CFCers, as has been mentioned previously, are a paranoid bunch. You give them apples and they'll scream Snow White, you take the apples away and they cry discrimination. But threaten to take away their forum, which (let's face it) is their entire raison d'être? With this move you sow the seeds of disquiet. We saw that with the mass spamfest of OT. We can see that now, with what happened to Sashie VII. Perhaps such a move is not warranted. I don't know, honestly. I ain't a mod.

There are many rules that make a good joke, but in my humble opinion, the most important of these rules is that it has to be funny. And this wasn't. This was farce.

Sorry for being a downer in this sea of happy relieved forum nerds, but that's two days of my CFC life (or non-life, am I right?) in which I was not having a jot of fun. And that's hard to take.

While the prank itself was well organized, the 'insurgency' movement of noncon and Gaius Octavius was hilarious. I haven't had this much fun on CFC in a long time.
