Tangaloa is the polynesian god who created humans. It would be like having Jesus Christ of the Romans. Also he is wearing a mask in all eras. amd does really remind me of a polynesian leader

Well, as a Greek, I'd be most proud if there was an actual and good looking Zeus as a Greek leader(or maybe Poseidon, considering the naval nature of ancient Greeks) .I'll possibly make on myself in due time.
Though I don't remember, I think I suggested Tangaloa more for the Philippines leader, making a connection to Tagalog dialect, but this could ba just coincidental and I'm mistaken there.
Anyway, obviously your mod, your call, but as a rule I don't object to mythical/deity/strange leaderheads for Civ. They considered the Gods alive and kicking in antiquity, and their actions inspired by them, so it's not too outworldish for me. From the modern man's perscpective, only then it's different.
The comment about Jesus of the Romans...I don't know how similar this is.
Roman empire predates Christianity and is not centered in a single civ, like Jehova for Hebrews or Zeus for Greeks(Jupiter for Romans and not exactly used as by greeks also much less important, and not believed to really exist and walk with them that much), whatever Gods for other civs then.
Also, Zeus was believed to be eternal and visiting Earth often were in Christianity God doesn't need to materialize in human form and will not do that. Some historians believed him (and all Gods) to be rulers of older eras that were godified afterwards.
Anyway, I'm not trying to suggest to you something, just offering a POV on how a leaderhead could be that of a God.
A suggestion for Mid age clothing would be a greener version of what he's wearing, more silky and maybe fatter turban(though I don't know how they were, but this is how I think leaders were at that time).
