Ask OT: Where do people think I sit politically?

caketastydelish:
Dunno (sorry :p) Okay a wild guess... Moderate-left on economic issues, moderate social lefty...?

brennan: economics: liberalism, but far left in that, left-moderate on social issues

Most are probably some moderate lefty - one needs extensive exposure to say much more... I am also not good with such labels (for I dislike them so much)

Actually you're about right, I'd consider myself to be moderate liberal.

If there's any one particular issue I feel strongly about it's my anti-imperalism beliefs.

As if we teh people of CFC never engaged in (self-)contradictory behaviour.

Reactionary according to Wikipedia

So Liberal and Reactionary are nearly polar opposites. My best understanding is a Reactionary seeks to remove all the government institutions and re-instate a previously existing system. So in the USA it might be, "Let's undo everything that has been done since Roosevelt took office in 1933 and go back to the days of the Wild, Wild West."

I suppose if a party could name itself "Progressive Conservative" for many years, then "Liberal Reactionary" is not out of the question. Given that you live in a completely different country, (Ask a Bulgarian) it might not be out of the question.

Well, the thing is, that both "liberal" and "reactionary", probably don't even exist in Bulgaria.

Unless, of course you count our dear friendly nationalists, but they want progress by killing several hundred people, which means that the liberals and the reactionaries would be turned off.

However, I think that reactionaries are just a bit more careful about embracing change. As anyone really should be.
