Aspiring Rapper's MAFIA- Game Thread

Seriously? You keep insisting that certain people aren't scum because it's way too wolfy, yet you think I am because of one random vote? Why on earth would I attract attention to myself that way if I was scum?

I am going to stop complaining about keeping up, mainly because it is annoying, but know that work is busy and all that still. Will be for the next week or so IRL. I think I have caught up so far, even though I have skimmed most of the past 50 pages. Cuth or Arakhor would be my top choices. Would be interested in Visor's reflection upon me that leads him to think I am town.

I'm getting the impression that anything I say is considered to be scummy. There is still more than 24 hours of the day to go yet and I have already explained who I think is scummy. No doubt if I had, that would be condemned as flip-flopping or bandwagonning or something.

The post I just quoted was the scummiest thing anyone has said during this entire day, including Visor and Newyn literally claiming scum.

Well maybe instead of all standing feeling pleased with yourselves, perhaps you could explain why? Clearly I'm missing something.

I think this is the funniest thing anyone has said today, but I'm also not completely seeing it. There are things, but it definitely could be town-perspectived

also check out one of my town games, if you want to be at all credible in scientific circles

I currently am, reading the Christmas Snowdown right now:

these are my notes so far:
"Notes on Cuth's scum behavior from 15 pages(fairly high activity) in a recent game of his:

At some times he is fairly aggressive in tone towards individual players, like this:
"@Titus. I want to make this clear. If you begin acting like you did last game? I'm going to use every breath in my body to lynch you. "
I'd say that is exaggerated way of speaking. So might be worth to take note of such statements in this game too, if he has any.

it's a 17 man game on page 11 he has a town pile of 7 people(including himself on the list). So might also be worth looking out for here - if he has many listed as town early.

Shows little interest in having discussions with people interacting with him.

When asked in to things, his response is sometimes that he isn't sure actually.

Has a couple of posts where he is going a little out of his way to make fun replies to people. So that's in his scum range. I don't recall it in the same way, from the game I had with him, where he was town. But will take a skim of that too.

Comparing to his town game in this game(http://www.mafiauniverse.com/search.php?searchid=184801), the part of him having a large town pile early, as scum, is interesting:
here he has a list already on page 3, and it is commented with "light", "lock", and such. While also containing null and scum leans.
"

Will continue and see what differences I feel there is between your scum and town game, and then compare to your game here

It parses to "Seriously? There are people just as scummy as I am, yet you've decided I'm scum for such a weak reason!". That's scum-speak for "I can't believe they're voting for me for such a dumb reason, instead of an actually good one. I'd have done the same if I were Town!"

In addition, you continue with "Why would I do this if I were scum" which is another scum indicator - the hypothetical "If I were a bad guy, I would not have done X because it would make it too obvious I'm scum" (especially after someone's called attention to X being scummy behaviour).

Pitun verkele, I'm not reading the latest 150-post batch of fluff.

So I just plugged that into Google Translate, Tak...

I'm not sure that's what you meant. ;)

It certainly translates as "that is a really idiotic reason", because that's why I said it. Besides, isn't jumping on stupid bandwagons also a scum sign?

Let's review my options:

A) vote for Cuthilius, because I always think he's scum, but that would be lazy, wouldn't it?
B) Vote for Lassie, because I don't like her game-style or because she has this really weird fetish for protecting Glossy, but no, Visorslash, pillar of the community (even when he's a serial killer), is never wrong, right?
C) Keep my vote on KM, because of his flinch and because there's well over 24 hours left to make a "proper" vote.
D) Any number of votes which would be perceived as OMGUS most likely.

Zack brings up one game (in which I was scum) where I was cautious in voting, yes. Suddenly that guarantees that I'm now scum? Carry on winning the game like that, by all means.

(Cuthilius, it's Finnish, but with the initial letters swapped.)

Have been rereading thread with focus on Cuth, at page 40 now. I'll stop, cause it's not really giving me a strong indication still. He does have a couple of posts that I find similar in tone from what saw in the Gibson game that I read. This is the most recent example, not going to go and quote all:
as "the" wolf?

assumptions, assumptions

i know i'm doing it too lol

it's his response to Glossy making an assumption about Cuth+Cass being w/v, but that Cuth can be the only one being the scum. I find it a little odd for him to have this "joking" tone in his response, when Glossy's assumption is fairly illogical.
I saw him answer in such a way(also making that tiny font on last line) in his scum game. In his town games, it doesn't seem he goes out of the way to make such responses, at least not in the same degree as in the scum games, and not as "try hard" either, from what I recall.
So yeah, kinda thin - and not enough that he goes to be my top scum.
Also, as I now continue reading the whole page, I see his aggression on me, and I'm not getting town vibes from it. A post like this etc. :
While this is a towny post, that's why it's suspicious.

So conclusion is that I'm not against him being a wagon, for what it's worth. But not convinced enough that he'd be my own preferred wagon.

tbf i was scum 2/3 times we've played

Ah, thanks.

I never believed that was the actual translation, but still found it amusing

unvote; vote arakhor

I pulled out a game about you not voting for the One Ring in none shall pass 3. Apparently it was akso demon council

Im back to arakhor boys. Also let's get that majority hammer. Speaks volumes on who is willing to bring attention to themselves

Many scum are afraid to be traceable

I pulled out a game about you not voting for the One Ring in none shall pass 3.

My not voting for the Ring had nothing to do with my being scum in that game. I said that at the time and after the game, when I would have had no reason to lie.

Speaks volumes on who is willing to bring attention to themselves

Many scum are afraid to be traceable

That makes no sense at all.

I really hope that some of you are scum, because otherwise you're all making fools of yourselves.

I don't understand your point B). Where did Visorslash and him being right or wrong come into your consideration of voting me? Is it because he is town reading me, and that makes you doubt if you should vote me?
