And yet.... somehow..... conservatives are now considered "radical right wing conservatives" with liberal conservatives now considered "right wing". Leftists are in control of all bureaucratic institutions and they have almost made real Christianity being practiced illegal but not quite yet. The schools are in the grip of a openly communist national union. The previous president who attempted to reverse the takeover has had the legal and law bodies weaponized against him to prevent him being re-elected. The MSM is the effective propaganda arm of "the party". There are mass coordinated efforts to silence public dissent on the official narratives. Parents are being labeled domestic terrorists for opposing permanent medical procedures being evangelized to their children. etc
If there was no leftist takeover.... I am having trouble seeing the original system being even vaguely intact. The only difference is their power is very weak so they rely on coercion and intimidation to stay in power while they pretend to defend the Republic.... by saying they are defending Democracy..... by suppressing any democratic attempt to put them out of power with the justification of calling it fascism..... as a fascist would.
"Christian nationalism" as a term comes from it's members. It was not imposed from outside.
All of the various ideas that we are in the "End Times" are heresy, because one of the clearest of all things Jesus said is that we will not know. The act, in and of itself, of trying to say when the end of days will happen is heresy against the direct words of Jesus, who said you will not know.
Except it's not the close deciding factor, is it? We're not looking at 2 candidates, and abortion is the tiebreaker. We're looking at 2 candidates who are fairly significantly different. Trump is, by far, the least Christian candidate for US president in all the nation's history. Yet he made promises on abortion, so much of the Christian movement abandoned all their so called Christian principles to vote Trump. Going so far as to practically name him a saint.
The Republican party stands against Christian principles. What the Republicans stand for is to take from the poor to give to the rich. Jesus would not vote for a Republican.
None of this is true. Once again, God did not suggest you not say this, God Commanded you to not say this.

I am not pretending the Republicans are Christian, what they have in their favour is they are not anti-Christian the way the Democrats are.... and they are not actually anti-abortion anyway they just say they are for votes and then do nothing of substance to stop the practice.

Looking for specific practices and things that you do in the real world, how it's part of your religion, and by which means they are about to become illegal.

The problem is one of proximity, when two incompatible beliefs meet.... one must give way to the other.
The only way to solve this is to eliminate one or to segregate the two.... at which point both sides will demand access to each other so that can evangelize to "save" and then extract individuals which means only elimination is actually feasible.

I've lived in many cities and heard many a Christian crying out in the streets about the necessity of accepting Jesus to avoid hellfire and have never once heard anyone harassing passerbys to read Richard Dawkins.

How to successfully subvert something: not only pretend you are not doing it but convince the target it's morally deficient for opposing the subversion.
Unfortunately accusations of "pretend persecution" in the face of obvious subversion attempts are not working any more as well as it used to is it?
