I am certain the DLC and the patch will drop at the same time. However I am curious to know when we will get patch notes. I imagine they will drop during working hours rather than in the middle of the night.
EA just announced that the full DLL source codes for their C&C remasters are going to be released. EA, a company who's name is a meme for anti-consumer practices is releasing a full DLL source code. While Civ VI looks like it isn't going to get a DLL release. This is while the civ series has been the host for, in my eyes, some of the most impressive mods ever made. Fall from heaven, Rhyes and fall, Vox populi, they are all masterpieces.
Is there reason to believe there will be patch? They said that they release free updates BETWEEN the DLC releases. So unless they have said something about patch I wouldn't expect a patch.

Yeah I meant "balance patch". Of course there will be the DLC content, but I havent heard anything about extra content. In their page they say the following:
In addition to these six DLC drops, we’ll also be deploying six additional free updates for all Civilization VI players. These updates will include balance changes and free content, among other surprises, so look out for those in-between DLC releases.

There will be more content, yes, the question is what, that's why people are waiting for the patch notes.
Bug fixes, exploit fixes, AI improvements, UI improvements, new methods exposed to modding (I suppose the "modes" use the "game capabilities" framework that's in the game since release, but now allow those to be activated / deactivated from the setup screen for example), etc...
The additional updates will be more focused on balance and may add extra content like units, buildings, scenarios, maps, and other things, but that doesn't mean some of those can't be in the mandatory patch included with each DLC release.

They haven't been patching the game in over half a year now so it is about ... time, that it happens. There's really no reason to delay a balance patch that is ready to go "just because we don't want to release it together with the dlc lol"
It's also one of the hypotheses for the Biblical destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah: an airburst like the meteor over Chelyabinsk in 2015. I think major meteor strikes have been more frequent in history, we've just been lucky.
I do like the new disasters. It will be fun to see what they do. Would you have to repair forests, or replant them?
Neat. For me, a guy from Central Europe, it means that I can go sleep, wake up to the pack getting released, and maybe, just maybe, with the Mayan and Gran Colombian themes uploaded on Peaches Lamb's channel. I'm already thrilled for that Gran Colombian industrial ever since the announcement vid for NFP
I hope not; forests have been burning for millions of years, and humans have only started stepping in recently. The forest fires will probably work similar to other disasters, with the forests being fertilized and any buildings/improvements burned needing to be repaired
