We've seen Inca units and Terrace FarmsBut still why do you guys think Inca is in the game?

Some art assets were spotted and also someone (I forgot if it was a dev or streamer) mentioned finding IncaI'm just reading this spreadsheet. When was Inca confirmed? I dont see any other South American civs in the antiquity and presumed they were trying to maintain the same number of civs per continent (with west and east asia counting separately).
If Hawaii is in the game that blows my continental balance theory out of the water already. But still why do you guys think Inca is in the game?
Well, there is also Greece->Normans->Modern European country.
But yeah, options for Modern European countries are getting thin. There is one unrevealed unlock slot for Normans and maybe Mongols can unlock Russia. Anything else would be too far fetched, even by Civ 7 standards. So out of Britain and Germany/Prussia we are getting at most one. Maybe not even one, if the unlock slot for Normans is actually Americans (in which case we would have one completely open wildcard slot for a surprise civ). This means, there is a good chance of Russia being in, otherwise we also would have an open wildcard slot.
I put them as likely with the first DLCsWont that hurt sales? i would imagine the UK and Germany are fairly big markets for the game, and not being able to play your own country is going to put some people off?
Certainly as a brit myself i play as England more often than any other civ when playing.
Inca will most likely come from the Maya, as well as the Mississippians too.I'm just reading this spreadsheet. When was Inca confirmed? From what I know Britain is confirmed and if Russia is playable instead, then maybe Germany can joinYes, it will. But that's the decision they made.
So we can now add Isabella, confirm Mexico, and add icons for Ming and Spain ... pretty nice harvest from the livestream !
EDIT: Oh right @Rac quite a few IP also... have fun![]()
It ends when the Age meter is filled. Also (and did we know this already), I learned that the Exploration Age has a start of 400 CE. Does anyone recall when Antiquity was ending?
So far our only indication of Britain is a comment from Ed Beach. As shocking as it is, at the moment I feel like Britain has less evidence for its presence than Germany and Russia. From what I know Britain is confirmed and if Russia is playable instead, then maybe Germany can join
+ Oxford Wonder. But the wonders are there for all three of them. And just because Fritz and Kati are in, doesn‘t mean their civs are as well.So far our only indication of Britain is a comment from Ed Beach. Indeed. All we can say for certain is that one of Britain, Germany, and Russia is missing. My preference would be Germany as it has the weakest leadup from previous ages, IMO, but my hunch is Britain simply because we've seen German tanks and hints that seem to point to Russian and German leaders. None of that is definitive evidence for or against; I just think we've seen the least indication of Britain--but we've seen so little of the Modern Age that it's hard to say anything for certain.+ Oxford Wonder. Given the impact the British empire had on the modern world it would be strange to omit the civ from the game.Indeed. Omitting any one of the three is strange, but I think that's just the price of ten civs per age at launch.Given the impact the British empire had on the modern world it would be strange to omit the civ from the game.
Oh well time will tell i guess.
To be fair, we've got its neighbor and its colony already. If they're going for variety, they might not want two same-Age Anglophone civs, so they keep America (fills out the North American roster, large global presence, very large playerbase) and have a different rep for west europe. It would be weird if the largest empire in history were missing from the base game, but it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest.
