I wonder how they look in-game (colour scheme, leader, flag, button, unit, building...). I also wonder if they can survive - would depend on their modifiers I guess - and if they can, how powerful they'd be. I mean, their unique stuff sounds great.
I think it isn't even certain if anyone named Vatavelli even existed. We don't know Indus script after all. I think the name is based on some Mesopotamian sources?
And yeah, the skin color is definitely wrong, I'm just stuck with the currently existing LH. Maybe I can edit the skin somewhat.
IIRC Vatavelli is a hypothesized name that the Harrapans may have used based on some conjectures. We don't actually know who any of their leaders were or what there names were.
Just in time I was about to abandon DoC (only for a while, i can't stand abandon it forever). Good job Leoreth, you always find a way to keep us playing the mod and almost never get bored.
I like the new civs. TBH I would like to see more such civs, playable and unplayable ones. One other idea was pretty good: Small unplayable civs near players.
For example Scotland and Ireland near human England. Burgundy near human France. Vietnam near human China, Khmer, Thailand and Tibet. and so on.
Somehow UP stops working when you train units with food. Meaning if one has extra 3 health -- it will grow the city +3 , but will not speed up the training of a worker by 3 extra . Interestingly, mouse over info predict correct number of turns (i.e. taking into account 3 extra foods it shows 11 turns for Worker) but the moment you chose to actually train it -- progress bar shows 17 turns.
That's intended, city growth only, but not unit production. Unfortunately the interface only adjusts after production is changed, which is why the predicted turns are wrong.
I know for sure I am not. Never contacted Babylon, have contact with China via Tibet, obviously no trade. Can it be that game registers contact vs trade, or minors count somehow?
