[RD] Daily Graphs and Charts II: Another 10,000 to come.

The thing is - if Leo wasn't famous people would make fun of him, call him a creep, and say that he has to follow a formula that's uhm his age minus 7 divided by 2 or something like that. And if he was female he would get a complete pass for dating young men.

Legally okay but still not something our society accepts as something moral in all cases, if the ages are too much out of whack and the genders are wrong. And IMO there is something to the age part of that. Maturity levels are completely different in 18 year olds vs 40 year olds. The older you are, the more power you usually have in terms of disposable income for instance - this power can be easily abused on somebody younger who is still naive about dating. Just my personal thoughts on this. Obviously legal is legal so let's do this!!

Thing is, it's not illegal. But it does show a shallowness. All of those women he's dated are

  • Not older than 25.
  • Blonde.
  • Exceptionally pretty.
  • Well above average height for a woman.
The apparent take from this is that he's not dating the woman, he's dating the physical type of woman. As if the person behind the looks doesn't count at all.

Yeah, maybe that's his ideal type of woman so he tries to find the one that looks like that with the best personality. Not that I necessarily think that, but at his age he must be needing some sort of a partner who is compatible with him in terms of their personalities. He just seems somewhat mature? But it's all a guess.

I doubt that I'd gravitate to one particular super specific look like that though (i.e. white blonde and tall), if I was rich and famous and had my pick of almost anyone. I like to shop around and try different kinds of foods. But that's just me.

When you watch miss universe or miss america or whatever - all the women always look almost exactly the same, even if they have different skin colour. So IMO it's also possible that some of the rich and famous have been fooled into seeking out that sort of woman.

When I start dating 21 year olds I'll post my graph here and we'll see how the community reacts and will compare the fallout to the above and go from there.

Not fair to compare different confederations, but we don't care. Besides we love being ahead of the U.S. by 11 goals, with Mexico not even in the top 10

Canada vs Mexico WC qualifying mayem tomorrow at 9pm EST. It's supposed to be -5C or colder w/ snow

I had a bit of fun with the calculator figuring out each team's goals-per-match average.

Canada - 53 ÷ 18 = 2.944…
Germany - 50 ÷ 16 = 3.125
Denmark - 45 ÷ 17 = 2.6471
Netherlands - 44 ÷ 15 = 2.933…
USA - 42 ÷ 20 = 2.1
Japan - 41 ÷ 11 = 3.7272…
Ingerland - 41 ÷ 18 = 2.27…
Algeria - 38 ÷ 10 = 3.8
Belgium - 38 ÷ 16 = 2.375
Panama - 38 ÷ 18 = 2.1…

IMO, climate change activists are a very, very long way off in their estimates of what will or won't
be achieved after COP26.

The atmosphere is like the tail of the dog: it is hard to see where the climate dog is going
from the wagging tail of the atmosphere's temperature. The ocean has a heat capacity a thousand
times that of the atmosphere, and takes hundreds of years to warm and/or cool - the ocean is like
the body of the dog of climate. So instead of looking at atmospheric temperatures, look to the
ocean to see where the climate is going. As the ocean warms, it expands, and so sea level rises.
As glaciers increasingly melt, the sea level rises. The following graph indicates where the ocean
is going...

IOW, we're even more screwed than most people believe.

There has been a really long term study done, that demonstrates just how historically fast the temp is changing now:

Haters gonna hate. My girlfriend is 19, idgaf.

Everyone gets a pass unless you're a miserable twit. When it comes to other people's relationships as long as there's consent & no abuse people should follow the nunya prinicple.

People mature @ different ages. Some of the most immature people I've met are old. They often get set in their ways, entitled & seem to lose maturity over time.

I feel like a 40-year-old woman dating a 20-year-old man is seen as weird too. It's just a lot rarer so people don't talk about it as much.
I know a 43yo lady dating a 23 year old. She's hot, he doesn't seem to care, why not? Only issue is I'd imagine it won't work out in the long term. A 20-something dude is often happy to date a fit 40yo but when he's in his 30's he probably won't be as keen to be dating a woman in her 50s. But that's just my opinion, at the end of the day it's none of my business.

South Sudan is clearly threatening the world with nuclear armageddon.

Hydro is such a common energy source in Canada that we refer to electricity itself as "hydro". In the context of your bill coming in the mail, you pay for "hydro", even if you live in a part of Canada that likely is using electricity generated using a nuclear power plant or something else.

I am surprised I have not heard of most of the top 10.

Pretty sure Ferocitus means that this needs to be seen proportional, and not in absolute numbers.
Not quite.
It seems to ignore the mammoth in the room. :)
