Exactly. Even though I would keep Wembley because imo Wembley is more prominent compared to other football stadiums than the Three Gorges Dam is more prominent compared to other Dams.

I suppose if you rename Hit Football Events to Hit Sporting Events then you can replace Wembley with a generic Awesome Sport Stadium to represent the founder nation's sport becoming the global game. I want the world to be playing Ulama, damn it!
 
Afaik building names come directly from the XML so unless you hard code something ugly into the GameTextManager unique buildings are the only solution. Which would lead to unintended results in situations like city conquest etc.

Yea it involved DLL changes. Could get messy but if properly implemented the effect would be pretty cool.
 
maybe give just Brazil a UB for the Three Gorges.. or those who have a specific replacement.. Hoover for America perhaps. You don't have to have one for everyone, just those who have one worthy. You could do the same with say a Sphinx to replace stonehenge for egypt..
 
The Sphinx has already replaced Stonehenge in this mod.

The problem with using UBs is that UBs are replaced on city conquest.
 
Hey Leoreth, I'm playing as Russia and I vassalized Sweden, but they appear as Protectorate of Sweden still. There is no iSweden, nor is there a vassal chart for iRussia. There is already an entry for if Sweden is controlled by the Soviets, or if the Vikings are controlled by Russia, but no Russia > Sweden. How would I add in a custom entry for this?
 
There's no difference between the Vikings and Sweden. Just use the iVikings entry.
 
I updated the soundtrack module to be compatible with 1.11.
 
EDI am having trouble running the mod on my Windows 8 computer, and I am unsure as to the problem. Upon restarting to load it, I immediately get the error message. Anyone had issues with this before?

EDIT: I forgot to patch the game :hammer2: Can anyone refresh my memory as to where the downloaded files would be and how to patch the game?
 
The download database on CFC should have it. Iirc it comes with an installer so everything will work on it's on.
 
Just a quick question, are Brazil and Argentina's spawns conditional? And if they are, what are the conditions for them not spawning?
 
They are, and in both cases the civ controlling most of the cities in their core has to have at least +20 stability.

Another question, does settling a city on a resource still give you the improvement yield? It doesn't seem to anymore.
 
Should be. It doesn't give food if that's what's throwing you off.

Yes. You already can't build it anymore.

The same way military power for the power graph is calculated. More powerful units are valued more, and military buildings and techs count to a certain degree as well.

Consider this an interesting Easter egg :
(It's RFC normal mechanics, but I only discovered it today)

1) Spawn
2) Found your first city (capital)
3) Open WB, delete the city.
4) Close WB & end turn.

Something cool is going to happen....

5) Open WB and put any unit on where you spawn.
6) Close WB & end turn.

Something cool is going to happen again ^^
I discovered it by accident lol, maybe you all have seen that before? :lol:
