The fact that I'm not a fan of mathematical optimization aside, where would the formula actually help you? Defeating enemy units and conquering cities is good for you, as well as avoiding the same thing happening to you. But you're doing the same thing anyway just to win your war.

Which was the goal, military stability should directly correlate with things you actually do when winning wars.

No, only wars with proper civilizations.
 
I have a question. I just saw the nodes folder in the mod folder and it's empty. What is it? Will it be useful in the future?

It's not empty, the files in it are just hidden. But it's not related to the mod directly, that's where SVN keeps the information on which changes happened between revisions.
 
Hey Leoreth I'm a long time fan of DoC. Thank you for making an awesome mod that has given me years of entertainment.

I noticed after your recent update that the french UB doesn't replace the jail and it wont allow me to build it. Also I saw that the Tokapi Palace and Blue mosque religion requirement was changed to Orthodoxy but I cant seem to build them even when Islam is present in the city. When running secularism though I was able to build them. Sorry if these are things you already know about I just thought I'd let you know.

Anyways keep doing what you do cause this mod is amazing!
 
Don't know about the French UB, but you need Islam as a state religion and have Orthodoxy in the city or be running secularism with the religion(s) in the city for the wonders.

French UB was my mistake, will be fixed with the next commit. Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace require Islam as state religion (or Secularism) and Orthodoxy in the city.

Anyways keep doing what you do cause this mod is amazing!

It's not that obvious from how the civilopedia displays it, I'll try to make it more clear.
 
in my last games the Turks usually converted to Orthodoxy, as they controll its holy city and most often dont own Mekka.
So maybe just having both Religions present and one of them as state religion? or would that make abuses by the Byzantines/Russians too easy? (However as Byzantium I'd usually be running Secularism anyway by then)
 
The amount of times I see "Sublime Ottoman State" as a DCN (mostly when playing as an Islamic civ) is annoying.


Should just be named the Lime Ottoman State

Just went through the 1.12 features, and I must say: This mod keeps getting better and better :D
Now that -3 from razing a city in the medieval era won't bother me in the 21st century:)
Would be hard to return to vanilla RFC, great work Leoreth :clap:
