It's not an article. It's a book. And it's based on the testimony of prisoners.

Oh wait, it has citations! Then it must be true. Everyone knows that stuff with citations is objective fact.

If the testimony is based on the majority of prisoners and they all collaborate on the same story, then it has a high probability of being true. I highly doubt that every single one of them are lying, and if they were, they most certainly wouldn't have the same story.
