Define "Left".

Nope, just an academic one. And the man thought that NCH was a great idea.

Well, I dont know what NCH refers too. He has general Conservative principles, probably leaning to some old, high tory right so nothing too distinct or crazy from current British politics (unless you think British politics is crazy) :D

You don't need a political opinion to see that Boris Johnson is a major assgoblin.

And don't call me Shirley.

well, i'm going to remember "assgoblin" brilliant.

The New College of the Humanities. Surely you remember the big flap about the University of Chums on Seats from last summer.

Ahh yes, the new university with television celebrity professors. Meh, I'm not up-to-date with acroynums on obscure political subjects but it doesn't seem that bad of a position on it, a big meh from me.

Having been Mayor of London for 4 years, I can't think of a single policy that Johnson has made, implemented, suggested, approved, fought for, tabled, or expressed a desire for. Not one single thing.

We call them "Boris Bikes", but that was actually Livingstone's idea...

EDIT: Oh, he banned alcohol on public transport.

EDIT2: Oh yeah, he's a big fan of banks and protects them from even the tame regulation that other Conservatives want.

He wants a useless ''Boris Island'' airport which is much more expensive and detrimental than just putting another runway at Heathrow.

If he were really pro-business, he would build a new runway at Heathrow instead of trying an egotistical venture to build a new airport entirely.

The NCH isn't really a "policy", but it's a "thing". And he has expressed a desire for it.

Wait to you here of Clegg's moments...:mischief:

In other news there exist a British conserative figure I would not mind to be PM...

In Manhattan, it would now be illegal to serve that quantity of soft drink in a cup.

And why doesn't he buy a jacket that has the right length sleeves?

Looks like 20 oz to me. But even half a liter is now illegal.

I thought it was just the "Big Gulp Cups" that were banned, not big bottles of soda.

The max cup size is now 16 oz or .47 liters. But you can still buy 20 oz or even 32 oz bottles in bodegas and supermarkets. It is just the cup size that is limited.

In the US, the 16 oz bottle looks more like the 12 oz one than the 20 oz:

And this Daily Fail photo is wrong. The can is 12 oz not 8 oz.

The best thing that can be said about Boris is that he is not ken,
