I was hearing he was a bug fixing intern at Fireaxis on Civ VI.
yep
This is just based on a reddit thread, as his LinkedIn is now down:

Wonder if they'll be any mention of this in the Civ 7 livestreams, as he certainly would've worked with people still there...

Based on the info, he was in a private high school in Baltimore (where Firaxis) is based, and would've been like 18 at that point. I'd guess he knows someone at Firaxis that got him the intern gig based on that....

Aaaawww, they deleted the post.
Y'all according to his LinkedIn he was a Firaxis intern from 2016 - 2017...
BBC can't spell Firaxis apparently

I guess it explains why Civ6 sucks so much ^^

A person matching his name and photo had an account on Goodreads, a user-generated book review site, where he gave four stars to a text called Industrial Society and Its Future by Theodore Kaczynski – more popularly known as the Unabomber manifesto.

Starting in 1978, Kaczynski carried out a bombing campaign that killed three people and injured dozens of others, until he was arrested in 1996.

In his review, Mr Mangione wrote: "When all other forms of communication fail, violence is necessary to survive.
assuming this is him, that's about what I pictured...Kaczynski, though, not Larouche.

Anyways here is the dude’s fav books on goodreads and his twitter

Everybody Lies and Brave New World and The Lorax are great but he is a weird political amalgamation like the vast majority are, as he appears to be a big techno-optimist and likes Elon and Thiel. Degrades secularism. Also seems to be vegetarian at least (maybe vegan). Hates Tik Tok. Wants more mental health awareness. Hates private insurance. Likes Tucker Carlson and trad architecture. We are constantly ruled by median voter moments.

John Brown was a nut and failure at everything but being a martyr. Which is not what he was aiming for. John Brown's sons always get forgotten, when they burned just as bright.

It's not a contradiction. This was an extra judicial killing.

Democratic way would be electing someone to change the law or people voting for the death penalty and applying it to the CEO.

America isn't a functioning democracy most don't have the death penalty. It's a flawed democracy academically oligarchy republic in practice.

Be interesting if anyone opposed to the death penalty is pro killing this guy.

An extra judicial killing is when the state kills, or a state actor (soldier/police) kills you without giving proper due process.

So no the rest of this post is simply false for not even understanding what judicial killing really is.

Not to mention a back surgery. I’m starting to gather that, if it’s true, he had it out for the insurance company denying his claim for coverage.

The big head scratcher, if he’s from a well off background (elite education, etc) that can easily pay off those medical bills, why did he lashed out at the CEO?

And here I thought the suspect was some annoying lefty keyboard warrior on Twitter 😓

We need to mobilise the people NOW! ESPECIALLY NOW THAT WE CURRENTLY HAVE A HOLD OVER THE ZEITGEIST! we simply can't avoid for this story to die down mass action is now totally necessary for it to mean anything. I totally agree with TJ Kirk's take, very good video 👍🏿

Sounds like it wasn’t from a surfing accident, but predated

Last Christmas I had two pinched nerves at the same time in my spine (“extremely rare” according to my doctor). It took months to resolve and I have permanent nerve damage (complete loss of feeling in part of my right forearm and thumb) from it. At times I was writhing in bed in pain. I had essentially nonstop muscle spasms in my shoulder for two weeks straight, and a nurse was kind of surprised when she could feel them happening through my hoodie when she put her hand on me they were so strong. I can’t imagine living with that. But I also would have pursued painkillers and weed and not fretted about banging.

Sounds like he had surgery that didn’t fix things and coverage was denied. His parents are wealthy enough to easily pay though. Honestly bizarre and boring a plot twist. Most people with chronic pain don’t murder lol.

He was on his HS wrestling team. Perhaps his original injury began there.

It's a possibility. But that's just speculation at this point since it's a total mystery since he hasn't divulge that much details (to my knowledge). This new information about the subject has started to make me feel, conflicted as if I want to have sympathies for him since he had to go through all that pain that no person has to go through and show two birds at the CEO and the US Healthcare system for being callous. While still holding that murder is wrong.

Ah, but le revolution, she is a fickle mistress, no? Especially since the guy apparently doesn't fit the nifty/romantic ideological mold so many were hoping for lol. Who knows what's going to happen with what comes out with the narrative? My bet's that the holiday season will probably also play a dampening role. Who wants to build guillotines out in the cold when there's roast beast to enjoy with the family?
