DLC 6 Anticipation Thread

I've done this a few times. The repeat dungeons are bad, but romancing Merrill makes it worthwhile.

I did hear about him leaving, but after Andromeda (which even my Alienware can't play) I don't think his replacement will be too experimental. I still have confidence

If only Talis was a regular, romanceable companion and not a DLC one!

There's a rumored leak that DA4 is partly going to do the one-city thing and be human-locked like DA2.

I feel like EA has let Bioware self-rule since DA2, for better or worse.

I think Hawke played out better than the Inquisitor, mostly because she was locked in what she was (and thus having a proper backstory and stuff).

Doesn't reach DAO level of course. :p

After another session of Civ 6 I had a random thought: do you think we'll get another atmospheric effect? Last time, iirc, they've added Northern/Southern Lights. Before, it was winds over tundra and desert tiles. Maybe now it's time for rainbows? Monsoon rains? Typhoons and hurricanes? Or just simply - trivial rain?

2kqa_b updated. Seventh for the week.

OP updated

Civ GH was not updated again. It was last updated on one of the GH qa builds a few weeks ago. I think they are not going to release it with the Fall patch. Let the mystery ride.
What is the reasoning behind civ GH being on the shelf for later release as opposed to being already complete and being released with DLC6?

After I made that estimation that it was ready and just waiting they updated it on the g build and haven't updated it with DLC06 since then. That looked like what they were doing with it during the DLC05 testing, so I assume a similar outcome.

Monsoon rains with lightning flashes?

I already suggested the rainbows previously, but I like the hurricane idea given the record season this year.

I still like the idea of Marsh mist.

Just what we need, more fluff over substance. Everything I've experienced with Civ 6 has lead me to believe 2K is more concerned about having a game that looks good than one with good game play.

wouldn't hurricane be 'too soon' case?

Maybe take a page from Cities:Skylines or Banished and have a one-turn tornado appear, move into a hex and "pillage" an improvement, then exit and disappear. Not too often though.
