Having recently looked through the Babe thread in it's entirety (I didn't go through all of them, of course - 8 pages was quite enough without a 500~ more) I've come to the conclusion that some of it borders on soft-core pornography, while some of it isn't so bad. I think you guys need to post more pictures that are more about a women being actually beautiful (Like Eran's pictures ) , and less about women acting like drunk lesbians. (Like Godwyn's pictures)

I agree somewhat. I do think that the idea of babe in some of Godwynn's pictures is not what I consider to be a babe, but the same applies to Eran's pictures also, because too often they are too much "girl nextdoor" type, and that is fine some of the time, but you can have classy women also, and that is what I believe is a true babe.

That is the beauty of the babe Thread. I really like the "girl next door" look (probably because all my neighbors were elderly), and c_h likes the classy style. But these are both valid ways of admiring beauty. Remember the pages-long debate I had with Cartesian Fart in Thread XVI about the nature of beauty?

Just to clarify, I don't find pictures of attractive females degrading in itself, I am about as far from a prude as anybody here.
I find it degrading when somebody posts just certain female body-parts. Please don't tell me that is not objectifying.People have faces.
I find some euphemistically speaking "suggestive" photos posted on it lacking both taste and respect.
I find quite a few comments not very nice.
Perhaps it is an age and experience thing, but it has made me refrain from posting there so far.

I think its funny that anytime someone is for some kind of courtesy that others disagree w/ that courtesy suddenly is "PC". So, PC is the term used as a de-legitimizer. Interesting.

As to you last point about being available "everywhere", that may be true, but its irrelevant as to having said thread here or not.

So, while I think we'd be better off w/ out such threads, my objection is pretty mild to indifferent.

I din't mean your criticism was PC and you seemed to me to be closest to what I myself was thinking, what I meant was if it was banned then it would be a bit PC, because obviously there is not enough concencus against the site or we would have heard about it, either here or by a lock on the thread. Mildly objecting to something is not being PC, overreacting to minority public opinion most certainly is.
