Well, I don't know what's the American sense of the word. The only thing I know is that neocons currently at Washington tend to over-simplify both foreign affairs and the economics due to an overwhelming ideology.

That's great to get elected, but unfortunately it also creates more problem than it solves.

Nto by definition. I am friends with wuite a few conservatives, and they genuinely believe what they believe not out of malice but out of thinking what is right. I believe they are not bigots.

The answer is NO, not all conservatives are bigots even though all bigots are conservatives.

Exactly. There is the kind of conservative who says, "I miss the good old days, and its no matter that blacks couldn't vote and women couldn't speak." And there is the kind of conservative who says, "I miss the virtues of old, and its no matter that they were not followed then."

No. Some conservatives are bigots, but then again not all bigots are conservatives. Likewise with liberals. Bigotry is not a left-wing/right-wing issue, but more of a moral/ideological issue.
