Violence in politics only leads to more violence, til things escalate out of control.

You are thinking about political violence in Germany and the RAF is the group that comes most easily to mind?

For whatever reason it's the "stock photo" part that drives the point home and makes me smile.

I couldn't find the picture I wanted from the Nuremburg Rally and the Blood Flag.

Oh, I'm all for peaceful co-existence, and if you're asking me, everybody should calm down and stop with the violence in general, then come together for rational dialog where we can discuss ideas by their merit.

But it looks like for the two groups that are clashing, that's not happening. What's happening is that there's violence, violence that at the moment it originating from Antifa, and answered by people on the right. My question is still whether people agree with those who say that it's sensible to punch Antifa to stop them from doing what they've been doing, to "punch them into submission" as some people on the right have called it. Again, I don't endorse that position, all I'm saying is that I somewhat sympathize with why that idea came up, and that I would like to hear different opinions.

That's where the juvenile jurisdiction leads to. Every parent must have a right and guts to whip his kid for misbehaviour. And when an average parent is a sissy or restricted by stupid intrusive laws, we get this ultraliberalism and street democracy and next day we have this:

Absolutey a great idea.
Best case scenario is that no-one is left standing from either side - and there will be much rejoicing and overall improvement of the gene pool.

I was making a bad joke linking black clad manly men with violence okay.

I was making a joke about how so many people think violence is some new think working insidiously into our culture.

People forget very quickly when they see relative peace for decades, at least from where they are standing and looking. I spent most of my youth dodging skinheads and football hooligans because I had long hair. *shrug*

I seriously couldn't care less. In the US the right has done so much damage, and seems committed to doing so much more, that I would consider it self defense if sensible people banded together and exterminated them.

Cattle carts and gas or just send them back to wherever the hell they came from?

Don't care...but there's no "send them back" option. It's not like they came from some "rightwingnutland."

Darn, even the nationalists offer more choices....

You could certainly have worded this better in your earlier posts.
