Eclipse Fuels Controversy Between NASA and Skeptics Over Whether Moon Really Exists

Was the sky supposed to chage colour, too, during the eclipse? I was walking home from work from about 1 to 1:30 AM, and even though it was too cloudy for me to see the moon I distinctly remembered that the sky was whitish-red. It was much brighter than I expected it to be at that time of night, and was so bright even in the middle of a tiny suburban "forest" far from any street lights.

That was awesome

even if I destroyed my sleep cycle once again just to see it

Thankfully I don’t have a sleep cycle these days… I was awake helping to feed my 7 month old twins (who are both sick!) and took a couple of looks out the window. Pretty cool indeed!

I took a nap at 11:00 mountain time and I set my alarm to wake up around 12:30 mountain time (2:30 est; the eclipse's peak was supposed to be at 3:17 EST iirc).

I didn't wake up for it :(.

It was all cloudy. So I could not watch that. Is there a video?

I live in the Seattle area. It's all clouds until May!

It was cloudy last night :( :( The first lunar eclipse on the winter solstice in over 3 centuries and mother nature denied me.
Don't worry. The winter solstice is a moment in time, not a day. The solstice hasn't happened yet, and won't for another 2 hours.

I took this photo last night:

The lunar eclipse is a symbol that my sibling deity is growing weaker, WE NEED MORE BLOOD HUMANS!!

Everyone knows Stephanie Meyer owns the moon. :mischief:

Missed it here due to clouds, but the sky was an interesting color.

My wife & son are in Florida visiting family & they had a great view of it. My son thought it was really cool. I'm glad he got to see it as it could be a once-in-a-lifetime thing for him.
