Robert Kennedy Jr. delivered the greatest political speech given in this country in more than a half century and if the people received it everything could change.

I don’t think the speech was particularly good but I do his endorsement could be big trouble for
Harris.

Jeez, over 45 minutes.

They were always going to go after 3rd parties hard this year.

His voice sounds a bit better these days.
Poor guy has a neurological condition that causes his voice muscles to spasm.

The irony of saying this after you started your post by saying Palestinians cannot be trusted to stay on-script is not lost on me.
Its not about Palestinians in general, its about the particular group of people that were requesting time on stage and you should know that.
Imagine if someone said the DNC would be fools to have a black speaker on the stage because they couldn't be trusted not to try to start a "defund the police" chant. Just an incredibly disgusting and disappointing thing to say.
That's a false equivalence and you should know that. A better analogy might be a group of protesters outside the DNC requesting a speaking slot at the very convention they are protesting. Repeatedly trying to analogize this situation to black people, as if you think that's the only way I can understand it is... I'll just say its... disappointing.

EDIT: Upon reflection, the specific statement "they would be fools" was heavy handed. I shouldn't have put it that way.
You should reflect on your own evident prejudice against the Palestinians
This is a pretty disappointing comment.

EDIT: NVM I'll PM you.

That's because Kamala's position has remained the same as it was with Biden as the candidate. That's 100% on her.
She remains a member of the Biden administration, which is still current, and he is still president for now. It seems kind of improbable she would seek confrontation about a change of policies already, even if inclined to? Not that she might be anyway, but still...

Yes, and?

Does that render the critique invalid or something?

Premature?
Is it? You just explained that she was a part of Biden's camp and emphasised she might not even be inclined to change said policy regardless.

That's the benefit of hedging your bets, I guess, but it doesn't mean Lexi is premature. He could be calling it accurately (and I personally think he is), and you withholding a conclusion could end up being a "too late" kind of scenario, no? That's the the risk with waiting.

We should all know in a not too distant future.

So USA folks, how do you think the Kennedy supporters votes will split now ?

50% to Trump, 25% to Harris and 25% stay at home ?

538 reckon not much. Their basic point is that anyone who was going to vote for Kennedy has already rejected voting for either of the people who had a chance of winning, so him pulling out is unlikely to change that.

While ditching Biden was certainly the right thing to do - otherwise the dem party was looking at electoral wipeout - maybe the celebration about Kamala was also premature and this won't be an easy race at all.
Which is impressive, given the other ticket is something as lowly as Trump-Vance. Should tell you that the dem ticket is nothing to write home about either :) AOC-Bernie, on the other hand.

Who else would be accounted for in celebrations, if not people? The actual party members sort of are a tiny percentage of the population - that's if we even assume they don't post celebrations/similar.
Tldr November is too far away for this nonsense to go on at this pace.

There's some truth to that. Abortion has undermined their position substantially.

I guarantee that somewhere, one of the ultra-wealthy donors to the Republican party is furious at their focus on social issues undermining their electoral chances.
The economy pretty decent so they pretty much have to focus on social issues and fearmongering.

in the Netherregions, there's about a month of campaigns before the elections. In the "United" states it's multiple series with dozens of episodes.

Will Harris keep momentum? Wil Trump descend into total madness? Find out in our next episode of "Indecision 2024"!

If it weren't for the people affected by it, the marketing for the entertainment of politics would be funny.
