Striking a month before an election was a terrible idea. Harold Daggett would've thrown the whole thing to Trump and come out as the most hated man in (probably most of) America.
Vance has repeatedly accused the media of being "obsessed" about an election Trump regularly brings up.
Why is that upsetting?This
My guess is the fact that Liz Cheney and her father have hitched onboard to support Kamala Harris. Rick Cheney is understandable if anyone has been through the Bush Jr Administration (not to mention he was the vice president). The only thing I know about Liz is her outspoken criticism and opposition to Trump. Why is that upsetting?

At this point, the Democratic Party can’t afford to devolve into purity spirals.
I'm not sure objecting to being endorsed by the Cheneys is a "purity spiral".At this point, the Democratic Party can’t afford to devolve into purity spirals.

Reminds me of Kissinger a few years ago. That didn't help either, as people hate those warhawks. The Cheneys, really? ^^This horsehocky sucks so much ass, dude
To give the devil his due, It's the only redeeming value that Dick Cheney has. If I were in Kamala's shoes and been opposed to Bush Jr's Misadventures in Iraq, I'd put me in a difficult and awkward spot. They're old school GoP who at least believe in the basics such as the republic and peaceful transfer of power.
At this point differences in policy doesn't really matter that's what elections are for.
According to the bid documents, vendors must meet certain specifications: Bibles must be the King James Version; must contain the Old and New Testaments; must include copies of the Pledge of Allegiance, Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights; and must be bound in leather or leather-like material.
Can you explain why you think so? And not just what Dick did in the past? This is about now and beating Trump. Liz was one of the few repubs to defy the orange nightmare. The endorsements are huge for Harris’s campaign and it is in her best interest to acknowledge that publicly. This horsehocky sucks so much ass, dude

IMO the ONLY thing that matters right now is that Trump goes away.
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) 2016 — Count Liz Cheney among those still supporting Donald Trump, even as a number of Republicans abandon their party’s presidential nominee because of remarks he made about women.
Trump’s comments were appalling but Hillary Clinton’s actions have been far worse, Cheney told The Associated Press by email Monday.
Cheney was referring to Clinton’s handling of sensitive emails on a private server while Clinton was secretary of state.
Cheney is a former State Department official and Fox News commentator. She is the oldest daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, who in May said he supports Trump.
Liz Cheney also said Clinton would devastate the energy industry, name U.S. Supreme Court justices who wouldn’t uphold the Second Amendment, and expand the authority of federal agencies including the Environmental Protection Agency.
A decline in social trust is a consequence of a fracturing of community spurred by changes in communications technology. The end result is a fragmentation of beliefs and values. These changes will inevitably effect the political realm, of course, but it isn't the political realm that creates them. All of these policy issues the Dems think they need to compromise on for whatever reason are not consequence-free. Embracing crypto means exposing more Americans to scams, for example. It's a thousand little things like this that destroy social trust, trust in institutions, and that paves the way for Trump to step in and prey on the resulting disillusionment.
I repeat for emphasis: the inability of Democrats to put the pieces together and focus on anything but the next election is why we got Trump coming down that damn escalator.
