Saying it is an action, actions have consequences. Thinking it also contributes to bias in decision-making, but that can be inferred backwards at times from the decision. Nobody is a mind-reader.So you can think it, but saying it, even privately, is crossing a line? That is a consistent ethical position. It also is one that, unsurprisingly, is not particularly popular.
