Moderator Action: Alright... I've read a little more into this thread, and all I can say is that this is Omega's game and it should at least be given the chance to play as he has designed it. The subject matter may be borderline insensitive, but I don't see anything blatantly wrong with it. Please be courteous to the host and let's not get too carried away with the spam and other silliness that a topic like this one is sure to incite.

tl;dr: play this game as any other and don't give me a reason to infract or shut it down.

In hindsight, letting NC be tumblr was a bad decision in terms of tone of the game. Yes, it is still the most amazing sign up post ever, but it ruined any seriousness this game might've had. And now everyone is basically copying him, but with other parts of the internet.

I'd already opened the floodgates and I can't close it now. Therefore, I'm not going to retroactively reject people's applications. I strongly ask everyone if they would kindly consider doing something besides an internet-based nation, but I will not force anyone to change. After all, if everyone is having fun being a complete joke nation, then in my opinion, everyone wins.

TL;DR: I'd prefer people would take the game more seriously but at the end of the day if everyone wants to just be a massive parody I'm not going to fight you.
