First Civ 7 developer livestream happening September 12!

Some questions:

Approximately, how many turns will each Age have at default speed?

Will there be unassociated wonders?

Will independent people/city-states allow you to build unique infrastructures like in Civ6?

Will some civilizations be more warlike than others or will that be decided by the leader?

And please, we would really love to know how many civs there are in the base game.:please:

Hello!

Can you ask the devs if the game will have a cool day\night cycle like Civilization 6? I am so used to it that I cannot play without anymore!
I feel I saw a screenshot where units had very long shadows and it gave a sunset vibe. I could be wrong.

I strongly suspect we'll see time of day return. It was a popular feature in Civ6, and it seems like it would beautifully highlight all the details on the map. But official confirmation would be good.

That's the most personality I've seen from a Civ7 leader, and it's my bête noire Napoleon. That gives me hope.

Will there also be looks at civilizations, or will those mostly be posted to the Firaxis blog like we've seen with Egypt, Maya, Aksum, Maurya, and Cree?
Cree? Don't you mean Shawnee? :)

Cree? Don't you mean Shawnee? :)
Yep. This is what happens when I sneak posts while working--especially after three weeks of six days of extended hours. :crazyeye:

I'm glad to see that you're addressing in the first video after the initial ones exactly one of the questions the community really, really, really wants to have answered . (the era transition, I mean)

Ooop... they changed the thumbnail. 😅

Which Wonder [natural or constructed] was the most fun to implement?

Question:
As we have seen with India some civs will be "in some form or another" available in every age.
Some civs have their golden age in the exploration age like Spain/Castile, Portugal, Poland/Commenwealth, the Netherlands/United Provinces etc., so it's not to weird to expect those civs be represented in that age (if not at release, maybe later, if at all), but they didn't disapear after that and still had their empire flourish in the modern age. So people from those civs today would like to be able to play as their own civilization in the modern age too.
It would be weird to pick another civ not related to you for the modern age and it would give me a bad feeling to have to do that.
Do you have thoughts about that and the representation for those civs in the modern age?

I agree that Age of exploration civs should be able to be played in Age of Modernity without a switch, they would simply have no new uniques that age but would retain their civs normal bonus.

I feel I saw a screenshot where units had very long shadows and it gave a sunset vibe. I could be wrong.

I saw that aswell, clearly different time of days in shown footage. I truly hope the cycle will be in, I cannot imagine modern era with all these skyscrapers, lights and modern wonders without the night look. In Civ 6 it added so much and it also worked as a layer for electricity.

Will Alternate Civ requirements change based on map size? In Civ 6 golden ages seem to need the same number of points irregardless of map size.

Please talk about Navigable rivers and other new map features.
