I know this has been a common question from our modding community - we won't be going into any specifics during this livestream, but we're keeping our modders in mind as we develop and I'll keep everyone updated when there's news to share.
I don't think these questions have been asked yet, but how will each civ's/player's colours be determined in the game?
Will each Civilization have it's own fixed colour combination like pre-Jersey-system in Civ6, or will there be some itteration of the Jersey-system in this too? Will leaders/players retain those same colours as they change Civilizations or will they adopt new colours of the new Civs they unlock? Will players get to choose what colour(s) to play as even if it's just from a pool of colours like the advance/multiplayer menu of Civ6 allowed?
And my other question is; what system/formula will the music in Civ7 folllow?
Like in Civ5 we had generic music and then when you interact with another leader, you will get their peace or war theme breifly (I would declare war on Brazil just to hear their war theme which was the best in the game~); and in Civ6 each civilization had 4 versions of their unique melody which evolve every two* eras of the game coupled with a handful of their own ambient themes that get introduced into the soundtrack as you meet each Civ in that game. (I ask as I don't know how you could top the music in Civ6 as I've always been a sucker for demixes and remixes of music with different styles/covers to show progression; so when that feature was included in Civ6 it was perfect for me, but as Civs look like the will be locked to an era now in Civ7, it looks like you won't be able to continue with that formula)
Jumping off the zoom/free cam stuff: it’s a pretty game with pretty tiles and would be nice if their was a screensaver/button toggle where the camera would pan over portions of the known world with the UI invisible.
Oh, good point. Screenshot mode is getting more and more popular these days; it would be awesome to have it for Civ 7, which is clearly a beautiful game.
Often times in other games, screenshot modes have full camera control, a variety of filters, sliders for weather and particle effects, etc...I'd love to have a nice mini-suite of photo editing capabilities in-game.
Good question…Given the role of Crises in preventing snowballs, I would hope that difficulty level is involved (as well as how far you are ahead (ie territory))
@FXS_Sar : Will Firaxis/2K reconsider their decision to use Denuvo? Many players are firmly against using Denuvo since it takes away consumer rights, limits mod potential, and can cause performance impacts.

Denuvo anti-tamper, which Civ VII has, is not a separate program (unlike Denuvo anti-cheat, which the games does not have). There is nothing to 'turn off'.

Perhaps better to discuss this in the Denuvo thread, but what customer rights does it take away and how does it limit mod potential? I'm pretty sure both of those are specific to Denuvo anti-cheat, are they not? (which, again, Civ VII doesn't have)

Q: Will scenarios make a comeback? I loved the Paradise Found (Polynesian) scenario in Civ V.
Q: Has any thought been given to perhaps a future age that starts on an alien world? A bit like introducing a small, one age, version of Civilization BE:RT, with a continuation of your progress? I have been hoping for something like this since Civ V.
Well two other minor questions;
Q: Does Tourism is still a mechanic here?
Q: And do we have new geographic features being added to the map? I particularly would love seeing atolls being a thing again
If we look at the tech tree we can see that not all techs have a mastery. Also, mastery appears to be a "leaf tech". Basically, it is a dead-on tech that comes after the main tech that will give you additional bonuses. So you must research the main tech first but then you have the option of researching the mastery tech if you want additional bonuses.
If you're in the UK, Ireland or Portugal and you tune in at 17.00 and there's no livestream, it's because we're still in Summer Time and it only starts at 18.00, you doofus.
That was totally not going to be me because I'm not silly like that
A small list of questions:
-The same as eagle pursuit, how many civilizations per age and total? How many leaders on release?
-What are the current victories in the base game
-How many players are allowed in multiplayer
-How is the map expanding exactly? is it made bigger at the start of the era or is it just made in a way that some continents are unreachable early on while civs and others might live on it?
-Will Ed beach give us the pleasure of clicking on the civilopedia button for us?
