As far as I can tell, it's not possible, at least not without an add-on, and on a quick search I wasn't able to find one of those either.

Thanks.

What ever happened to listing who is hanging out at each forum? It was nice to know if XYZ poster was in OT.
I actually don't mind this not being here. If you're curious as to what a specific poster is doing you can always check that person's profile. If they have their preferences set to allow you to follow them around the forum, you can.

Since there have been people who have followed me around from forum to forum (stalkers from another site), I've felt safer being able to be in "invisible mode." Not sure how to do that here, though.

One thing I do miss, though, is the list of people who have visited my profile page. It sometimes led to some interesting conversations with people I'd never met, from asking them why they visited me when their primary interests and mine had little to do with each other. Sometimes we found secondary interests and ended having a nice chat about it.

Except that it's almost impossible to find a poster with the members list broken.

He can always find one of their posts and check out their profile. That gives information on the member's regular posts and profile posts.

I've rarely felt the need to check out what people here are doing in real-time (I understand it when it's urgent to be able to contact someone and hopefully PM them when they're here rather than have to wait). But some people have nothing better to do with their time than keep the "who's online" feature up so they can follow people around the forum like a stalker. I went through that (being watched) on another forum this summer and it's really a creepy, aggressive thing to do.

I have to agree with Valka, I never really saw the point of the list of everyone currently in a forum when you could view someone's profile, via a post or member list search (which I read is broken; seems iffy to me as some posters it finds, but others such as Fifty and Alcibiades of Athenae it does not, but I reckon will be restored at some point). I had occasionally turned Invisible Mode on specifically so I wouldn't show up in that list due to the creepiness factor, and not seeing any real benefit.

The one area where I could see it being useful is if there was integration with an instant messaging platform, such as Fiftychat. IM platforms aren't as useful without knowing who's online, and perhaps it would be nice to have Civ-forum-based chat rooms that you could sign into automatically upon going to CFC. But that's a completely different feature which CFC has never had.

I fixed Civ2 war Academy yesterday, retaining the same URLs we had before.

War academy articles for Civ3/Civ4/Civ5 will also get fixed within the next couple weeks.

 Yay, glad to hear they will be returning and Civ2 already has; there's a wealth of knowledge in them. I also noticed that most or all of the remaining smilies returned.

When will I get my old avatar back? Its over 12 years old and I would like it back... thanks

Oh yeah, I almost forgot that I haven't always been a question mark.

I hope the breadcrumbs at the bottom of each page, especially the Previous< >Next buttons, are coming back...
Really. I'm missing the living heck out of this feature.

Can the "« Previous Thread | Next Thread »" thing at the bottom of the page be done in xenoforo?

Maybe inactive members don't show up? I don't think those two are permabanned, are they?

It would be nice to have something like the social groups back.

We shall see next month when it's time for the Christmas smileys.

XenForo isn't very good for organizing them, though. They look like a jumbled up mess instead of a nicely organized table.

I assume by now there's no hope for profile info and signatures getting fixed?

So they're not broken at all. What's to fix, then?

I'm using the word metaphorically. Old CFC had a perfect layout, and this is a few thousand steps down from it.

I agree about the profile information. There's no way now to know who has visited one's profile page.

As for signatures, I'm still hopeful that there will be a better separation between post and sig. The line is so faint that they look all mashed together.

I meant the info directly beneath your avatar.

All that text doesn't need to be under them, either.

What's in the sidebar is the same information as I had on the old forum. It just looks different.

The stuff underneath the sig is ridiculous. It's apparently one of those XenForo things that can't be changed. I have no idea who thought it would be smart to put the timestamp at the bottom of the post, but they should be taken out and evaluated for common sense. It's a ludicrous place to put information like the timestamp, post link, etc. And what's the point of putting the username down there? We can read the username in the sidebar.

In fact, in that post of yours (#596) I see your name under your signature and under your avatar at practically the same height.

What's broken?
All the previous categories of interests, etc. etc. have been melded into one single chunk of text on my profile page.

Will someone ever fix the multiquote function? All quotes I queue up are lumped in from all threads. I frankly don't understand these claims of Xenforo being superior to vBulletin.

Sadly, I don't think this is something that can be fixed. :(

Evidently it never occurred to whichever twit at Xenforo who designed the multiquote feature that people don't necessarily read/reply to one thread at a time. My best suggestion is to keep Word Pad or Notepad open to do a cut/paste of the content you don't want to reply to at that time, and then put it back later when you're ready to reply to that particular set of posts.

We also don't have anymore the little bar at the bottom of the page where we could see which forums and subforums we were in. Now I have to scroll back all the way up.

Oh, and pages only have 20 posts. :S
