The BB Code formatting for YouTube links is now [media=youtube]AbcdEFghEtc.[/media], instead of the old [youtube]AbcdEFghEtc.[/youtube].

So every post that had the old formatting is now broken? I really hope this is fixed.

Just enabled this option:

Create Pages for Categories

When enabled, clicking on a link to a category will take you to a dedicated page that only shows the children of that category. When disabled, users will be redirected to the full forum list and scrolled to the correct category.

This is similar to clicking a forum category in the past, showing the list of forums for that category only.

And also enabled multi-quote.

Enabling this system allows multiple messages across multiple pages to be selected and quoted in a single reply.

TIP: When positng link to YouTube video, you don't need to use the media tag. Just copy and paste the link and it should auto-embed media links:

I have a number of threads to which I had "subscribed" which were organised into folders e.g. SGOTM, Reference etc. Apparently "subscribing" is now known as "watched" but the trouble is that all such threads are shown as one big jumble rather than split into folders. The original folder names are shown alongside the watched thread name. Is it possible for these threads to be organised as previously?

Every "reply" that you click on adds the text of that thread to the reply box at the end of the page. If you move to another page and hit "reply", it takes the reply box from the previous page (and any previous quoted text) and adds the next one, too.

The forum works quite nicely on mobile.

But the color scheme needs to change.

I'm of the same mind here. Is there a way to enable different looks for end users? Switching to a dark theme or something would do wonders for my eyes.

Hover over your name near the top right of the page, signature is the second option in the left column. Might be different for moderators though.

Sorry if it was asked already, but I cannot find out how to set forums to always display newest replies on top and not the first one - as it was possibly with the old forum. Is there a way? I find very uncomfortable the "Go to First Unread" button.

This doesn't work, i tried it serval times but the text from the previous page doesn't show up in the reply box.
